Not necesserily as long as you aim to be up early for the main rides. Its all to do with planning. As far as im aware ME runs past 2000 hrs. Also depending who u booked with for Qsdp you can upgrade yes but not sure on the cost. Well done for booking your flights. Good price for the 5 of you. You can enjoy your planning now:thumbsup2

API is the advance passenger information that you airlines ask for i think. It's just like your name, DOB, passport number etc I think. If you go on the airline's website and log-in to your booking, I think sometimes there's a link or something requesting you to add it before you depart. At least there was with BA... just clicked on it, it took me through to a form where I had to enter all the details for each passenger on the booking and it was done.

I originally booked to stay in POFQ with the QSDP back in June. However, we decided later that we'd like to upgrade to the regular DDP. For us (4 adults), it was cheaper to upgrade to a studio in OKW to get the regular DDP as standard with that resort than it was to upgrade the plan individually, so that's what we did. Did that over the phone three months later in Sept.

Happy planning!!!!!

Sorry, meant to add - I love August! Yes, it's hot and humid (but I love the heat!!) but towards the end of the month, it starts to quieten down a tad as the American kids head back to school I believe!

You will need to buy esta's if you havent got them already, they are like visas and are done online

I love august time, we got married on 2nd sept four years ago and i love it that time of year

Woo hoo :goodvibes

We've been in August twice and didn't find it too busy. I do remember it was very hot though!!

I see you're staying at POR :) We stayed there in September for the first time and really liked it!

Whoop! August is a fab time to go! Lots of sunshine and long park opening hours!
I'm looking at flights at the moment for November and cant decide whether to just book or not as we fly into Miami for a friends wedding in Key West and out of Orlando after visiting the mouse for 12 nights! so excited!

i upgraded the dining plan as we are only onsite a week it was just £252 to upgrade it so am happy with that now i just need to choose where to make our adrs !!

im planning on doing as many theme park hours in the 7 days we are onsite then water parks in the 2nd week as apparantly free parking at the water parks so and just a few extra park days

also sent our magic express request

just got other 2 week to sort out car , insurance estas etc !!!

shall i do these now or wait til nearer the time?

They are valid for two years, it says at least 48 hours before you go. I would do them about a month before incase the dont get approved
