I have a wonderful husband, but he has lapses every now and then. He had to go to the airport to reissue a ticket that we bought in 1994 in exchange for our Disney trip this fall (yeah, so proud I saved that unused ticket!!) and he smelled Cinnabon- our whole family LOVES cinnabon and haven't had any in 3 years because there are none near us- just at the airport. And tomorrow is our youngest daughter's 4th birthday so he wanted to surprise her with cinnamon rolls for her breakfast- the problem is I know I can't eat ANY- if I even take a taste- I'll end up eating the whole thing and ruining my chances of hitting the 10 pound clippie this week. Dh did express regret and apologized for buying them (Did he have to buy 12!!!) but they're still sitting there and I'll have to smell them in the morning- please pass some pixie dust this way and convince me of what a loser I am! I can do this!!!

Bad cinnabon, no cinnabon, give big hips cinnabon....
Tara

Tara you are SUCH a loser!!! :p

Maybe if you call Orkin, they can rid your house of those pesky creatures??

DH is evil I tell you, pure evil!!

Good Luck, you can get through it..............just keep smiling through your gritted teeth!

;)

Yikes!!!

It's posts like this that make me glad I'm single and live alone!:) :) :)

Pixie Dust to you Tara---Just think how good that 10 pound clippie is going to look in your sig line!;) :)

Okay, here are a couple of options:
1. Sleep later than everyone else...let them eat while you are asleep...just make sure they clean up.

2. While they are eating...go workout...go for a walk, run, sprint...do something to take your mind off it

3. WHATEVER you do DONT sit in the kitchen and WATCH them eat!!! This would be my worst nightmare!!

4. Feel free to use my old trick of putting them in the sink (yep the whole box after the family has had their share)...and pour water on them. (I know its mean...but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do) lol.

Just know how wonderful you are going to feel, if you don't eat them and you make the "right" desicison for yourself. You won't be stuck with that guilt and worthlessness for the rest of the day.!! You may even be proud that you were able to resist!!!

Good Luck....Please post back and let us know what Happened!!

Omigosh! <b>EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY! CALLING ALL WISHERS!</b>

Okay, Tara, here's what you do. Wrap the box of cinnabons in a garbage bag and put the bag and buns in the trunk of the car. Try not to put them in <i>your</i> car

Make your husband warm them in the morning and take them to his little girl when she first wakes up. A daddy/daughter breakfast in her bedroom.

Hang in there, sweetie. You have come too far to let a lump of fat, sugar and wheat (and irresistible fragrance :( ) to get in your way.

Be strong! You can do this! I know you can.

A classic Cinnabon contains <b>710 calories</b>, <i>24 grams of fat</i> and is worth 17 WW points.

Okay now guess what I found when I was looking for that mean old nutritional information? A recipe for low fat cinnabons! I don't know if it's any good or not but here it is:

<b>This recipe is quite flexible. If you like more stuff between the layers of your cinnamon rolls by all means add it. Gobs of toping is great too.

This is an attempt to create Cinnabons the creamcheese topped cinnabons available in our malls. </b>

Cinnabons (Cinnamon Buns)
Barb Beck

Buns:
1 loaf bread dough (frozen, from your machine or whatever)

Fruit mix: (You can double for gooier buns)
1/2 cup apple sauce or baby fruit even yoghurt works here)
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
2 Tablespoons brown sugar (optional)

Topping:
1 250g carton fatfree cream cheese (or sub yoghurt cheese or
even yoghurt but sauce wil be softer but not really a problem)
sweetener of choice
1 t vanilla

Mix fruit, cinnamon and sugar if using. (<b>I often leave it out and rely on
alternative sweetner in the topping.</b>) Roll dough out into large
rectangle. Spread with fruit mixture. Roll up and slice into buns. Place
buns into a nonstick pan and let rise. Sprinkle lightly with brown sugar
and bake at 350 until done. Make topping by mixing fatfree cream cheese
(or sub) with sweetner of choice and 1 t vanilla (more if you are a
vanilla nut), Frost with the topping (or if it is too runny use as a dip)
and enjoy.

I don't know who Barb Beck is but she created this recipe :)

Good luck! Remember you are a WISHer and you can do this. We will help you :)

And he brought 12 of them into your home?! That's 8520 calories!

Tara, run away!!! No good can possibly come of this! I know I like to say that there are no forbidden foods on Weight Watchers, but I must rescind that in light of the astronomical calorie count of the marvelously fragrant and tempting Cinnabon.

Picture the lovely, sticky Cinnabon dangling from your upper arms, pasted directly onto your hips, plastered to your tummy, glued beneath your chin. Run away before it attaches itself!!

Hurry!

Yikes!! 710 calories!!

Stay away, Tara, you can do it!!! We all have faith in you!!

Thanks for the recipe Kath!! :)

I think that Katholyn has a good idea about storing these monstrosities in the car. I will go one step further and suggest your DH and DD eat them in the car! Keep strong, Tara...you have a 10 lb clippie calling your name, not a Cinnabon!
