ARGHH!! Check those room ressies!!

I called the internet help desk ( or some such place ) and she said that the date of the package changing was a "new one" and she was letting the I T people know about it.

The CM said that they are hoping to have everything fixed ( and up and running ) by...get this....March....!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl2:

She also told me to call to make Dining ressies and not to rely on the site to do them correctly....

Very nice gal, I HATE calling them to find out what is going on as this is not the CM's fault. This sweetie of a CM said she has to deal with angry people all day, this poor gal has the patience of a saint.

March?!?!?!?!?!
Ridiculous. Absolutely flipping ridiculous.

However, I completely agree with you. The only people we will come in to contact with when we call won't have any answers for us, and didn't create the problem. They just get to deal with everyone being frustrated and it's unfair to them. There's nothing the reservations call center people can do about it and they are likely just as frustrated as we are.

And fwiw it's worth my Canadian friends, the method I outlined above has been successful for me this evening. I have changed and cancelled several reservations and received cancellation and confirmations in my email as I changed things, so I am feeling pretty confident about the whole thing.
It's still a completely ridiculous, time consuming and backwards way to have to do things, but it works and beats calling in a bunch of times.
I will however call at least once when I am done to make sure the reservations I have are what they show.

Disney must have hired the same company for their new website design as the direct sales company I work with. We rolled out a new web program, and it was atrocious! It was so bad, they actually rolled it back into 'beta' mode and consultants could go back to the old system if they wanted. A year later, it's still in beta mode.

I hope Disney figures it out soon!

That website you linked did pull up my reservation...so that's a relief! :) I've printed copies of everything else (ADR confirmations, etc). Although I was able to link my ADR's in the new website. So I can see the dining, but not the resort - in the new web. I see the resort in the check-in website mentioned above.

Thanks but I have officially given up.. We start our traveling tomorrow and I won't deal with this again til check-in on Friday. It's just making me angry and that's no way to start a Disney vacation.

I'll see the concierge at the hotel and see what they can do for me then. Thanks for the tip tho!

Now I wanna try eating at Akershus 7 days in a row.. I wonder if the staff would start to recognize the crazy Canadian back for day # 5? LOL

They are going to think that you are stalking the Princesses. :rotfl:
Princesses: You again!! (on the 3rd day.)
You: Yes Ma'ams, it's me again! No worries, you will see me again and again! :goodvibes

I completely understand. It's a reasonable expectation that if you are forced to make reservations ahead of time, that there would be a reasonable way to actually do that. Not so.
I hope the concierge is able to help you and that you have a relaxing trip.:)

Been holding for over an hour - my DME i screwed up, dining ressies and my sister's room.

And when I get home from work I want nothing to do with telephones!!!!!!!!!!!!
