Argh...the new website is so frustrating

I want to try to make a payment on my vacation today. I heard if you go to the new website and click to order custom maps it will take you to the old website. So I did that and it worked. Then I had to link my reservation and I went to the details. It showed the balance due and the date it must be paid by but no where for me to make a payment.

Then, I don't know how I was routed back to the new site where it says it can't find my reservation. Tried to link it again and it says it is already associated with my account but it doesn't show up.

The new website needs to be put out of it's misery.
 
I tried to make a change to a preferred room today and they couldn't get it to process due to system updates after we'd gone through the process. I have to call back when it comes back up, but they had no idea when that will be. So frustrating dealing with new, not improved, system!!!

It is optimized for IE9 or better. make sure you flash and java clients are up to date.

also, it takes a decent broadband internet service. 5mb or greater.

finally, a decent newer computer.

i think disney has made the web sight for next gen computers and broadband. as people get newer hardware, they will move into the sweet spot for the site. it keeps them from having to redesign it every 18 months.
 

Doesn't explain why it is down even for them all the time... I called Disney. They couldn't get their computer to work or even give a time when it might be up.

I am not complaining about site performance. I am talking about the poor layout and lack if options.
 
I dont like the new website either.... hard to get around anywhere. I miss the old one *sigh*:confused3
 
From what I have read, the new website is terrible! My DBF has tried to use it a few times and found it very frustrating. We are making our ADR's in 2 weeks and are calling to make them all. I don't want to take the chance and have the website not work on me! Hopefully they work the kinks out ASAP! I don't understand why they would launch it with so many problems!
 
Works great for me. I made 3 changes to my reservation and each time the change was updated online within seconds of completing the update. The site is super fast for my system. Then again I've got a Dell XPS i7 with 10gb of DDR3 memory and a sickeningly fast video card...not to mention 18MBps of internet speed.:cool2:
