The truth of the matter is everyone else will pay for this. By that I mean higher prices to account for the projected losses. For all of those defending the "poor consumers," check into how much your local Target donates to your community. Multiply it by all of the locations and you have quite a large sum. That money is generated by our collective purchases and will be reduced if there is lower sales income or higher losses. The result is fewer scheduled hours for Target team members and less disposable income in local economies. All so that a few consumers could get the discount they were "entitled" to.
