So my dad wanted to treat my roommate and me to Lion King tomorrow.. he bought the tickets from Ticketmaster online a few months ago and when he went today to pick them up at the box office they said that they had no record of the purchase. I have no idea whether it was his fault or Ticketmaster's. So I'm just a little disappointed, even though I've already seen the show plenty - I just love Lion King, and was really looking forward to it.
Oh well, he bought tickets for February, better seats so at least I'll have that to count down to.
But I'm still kinda bummed. :mad:

I don't blame you for being bummed Amzey. . :(

Did he get charged for them on his credit card?? At the very least he should get a refund. . .

I am sorry that this happened. Sounds like ticket rip off is still at its old ways.:mad:

Sorry to hear that Amy. I agree with Willy, if they were charged to your dad's credit card you should at least get a refund.

Ah, I am sorry that things didn't work out! I know that he was disappointed too. {{{{HUGS}}}}

Oh Boy, Don't be too hard on him;)
Maybe he'll do something else with you, your so lucky to have a Dad to spend time with!

I'd be disappointed too but at least you get to go again in February :)

I'd be disappointed in not seeing Simba too! Glad you are going in Feb., I am going in March! yay! :D

I've seen this happen with Ticketmaster before. If your Dad calls Customer Service at Ticketmaster with his confirmation number, they will probably fix him up with better tickets than he actually purchased.

Hmm, I'll ask him if it was charged to his credit card or not.
BobNC, that's the problem.. he said he always used to print out the confirmations they sent him but after nothing went wrong he decided he didn't need to.. figures that something goes wrong this time!

Ticketmaster up here e-mails a copy of the confirmation number to you. Any chance that he'd still have that e-mail?? It's a long shot, but worth a try.

Sorry you're going to miss the show, Amzey. I can understand why it would be frustrating/disappointing.

(Look on the bright side ;) ... it could be worse... you could have my tomorrow! ;) Midterm in the afternoon followed by coming home to work potentially all-night on a research essay)
