I have made special requests for our 2 ASMo rooms for our trip on Saturday. They are: crib in 1 room, connecting rooms, non smoking and requesting the Toy Story building. Each time I make a change to my reservation, the requests were wiped out. Last Monday, I had to add my mom and brother who finally confirmed they were goling and I specifically asked if our 4 requests were still there for both rooms. The girl said let me check...yes, they are there. On Friday, I received our reservation confirmation via FedEx. Where it says "Special Requests" was blank! I called Disney just now and the customer service lady said "no, there are no special requests!" UGH!!! This is like the 5th time I have had to add them since March! I hope we get them all!!!

That keeps happening to me as well. My crib request is the only one that sticks. All other request keep getting wiped out. They also lost my flight info once for ME. I need to call to ask a ? so I will check on everything again. Frustrating, isn't it?

Well I think you have to keep in mind that these are just requests. Nothing is guaranteed, except sometimes non-smoking if it's a medical reason. It sounds like you're travelling over the 4th of July weekend, so it may be packed. I'd go with an open mind and if you get some of your requests, be pleased with that. I'm assuming connecting, non-smoking rooms are your priority. I wouldn't be so concerned with which building you get if those two requests are met. Also, I think cribs are pretty easy to come by.

I hope I don't sound insulting...I just know from experience how it feels when you go with such high expectations and you don't get what you were planning on. ::MinnieMo

I don't think anybody is saying that they expect all of their request to be met. I made the request knowing well enough that they are simply requests... no quarantees. But, it doesn't hurt to make the requests in case they can be fullfilled. My gripe is that my requests keep getting wiped out of the system. How can they even be considered if they aren't even there?

cribs and bed rails can be requested upon check in....I think the more you "note" on a reservation the better the chance that you won't receive anything.

As I was typing the original post, I was on the phone with ME to verify that they had everything right. Our inbound flight was wrong and they didn't receive the last 2 passengers I added last Monday. They need 10 days to print luggage tags, so we won't get them for the last 2 people since they didn't get their names until today! UGH! But that's another vent...

I realize that anything we ask for is just a request, but I cancelled my AAA ressie because a disney agent told me that the earlier your ressie is made the higher on the priority list you are for requests. This ressie was made in March...my AAA was made in May, so I gave up the $300 savings wiht the hopes I would get my requests. DUMB. I need the connecting rooms with 4 kids in the party, otherwise we will all be room-bound once it is bedtime for the baby!!!

Good luck is all I can say. We made our reservations back in Feb. and requested AB buildings 14, 15 or 16. We got the AB but only because I requested it again at check in but we got building 38. I think a lot of granting requests has to do with when you check in and what is available at the time. I wouldn't have given up my AAA discount since this may be a reason for you to get very angry if you do not get your requests.

I hope it goes well for you. :)
