I live in a pretty small town type area (western MA) it isn't completely the middle of no where (like we have paved roads and stores... although you can find areas that don't around here) but there are only two cities in the county and both are VERY small. As such MANY companies aren't around here and we don't have much of a choice in anything.

The last few days my phone and internet have both gone down SEVERAL times they will come back up after a while and then crash again. I can generally reset the box and make it work but it could be good for 5 min, 1/2 an hour, or 3 hours but it WILL crash again. We have had 3 techs up at the house in the last few days who all have either done nothing or assured us everything is working fine. The landlord is having the same problems downstairs.

So I was getting really really fed up with their run around and spoke with a supervisor who basically told me that if the techs can't fix it our only option is to cancel. The problem with that is Time Warner is the ONLY company that does internet service in the area. Everything else goes though them!! I don't really care about the phone everyone has a cell phone anyway and those don't stop working every few minutes but I NEED the internet.

At least it is happening now during the summer and not when I have grad school classes I need to watch online and work to do but I still can't just go without internet so I'm stuck giving business to a company as ***** as this one!
