see I like that, choices.
I asked the teachers for a weekly syllabus last year, guess what thee response was?
Oh we don't know what we are assigning that far in advance. HUH??????![]()
They don't set their school week into a plan?? Hello, our teachers have weekly mtgs to make sure all the teachers are on the same page.. While they may all work at a different pace in their classrooms they have to all meet a certain set of criteria.. (boy I wish I could think of the name of it).. Anyway, we even had to do them in college when I went to school.. oh, LESSON PLANS!
As for the librarian... WHAT? ARE THEY FRICKIN' KIDDIN' ME??? HELLO, ISN'T THIS HOW ARE KIDS ARE SUPPOSE TO LEARN AND HAVE HANDS ON EXPERIENCE IN THE CLASSROOM AND WORK ON THEIR PROJECTS IN SCHOOL..
Sunshine, I'd be on the next moving van out of there!!!! That is just nuts.. talk about kids being left behind..
There are lots of houses around here!!!!
But if computer class is in there how are you supposed to have library?
But if I move to Belgium, Ireland, or England you'll have to come see me there too. Then we can jet over to DLP!

Never have to worry about getting a teacher that won't communicate or work with me. I have also been able to tell school that he is highly allergic to dust and needs to be in classrooms with ventilation. Our middle is old, heating system old. It sucks and his asthma is worse than it was in elementary (newer school). They have worked with me well and I appreciate it. Next year in high school I may not be so lucky, but the principal knows who I am so I hope it helps since I haven't made a pest out of myself cause DD17 hasn't had any problems
