ALSO, many times if you then hit your BACK button on your browser, it may take you back to your typed entry. It may not work sometimes, but it has saved my butt a few times.

I also suggest writing your trip reports in another editor like Word or Notepad and then copying and pasting. It'll save your trouble like this.

It's done now..

I feel your pain. Since I primarily use the "vi" editor at work, I have the nasty habit of hitting the ESCape key while entering text. This has the unfortunate effect of erasing everything that you've typed. I have uttered many an arg!!!!

I learned long ago, with the very frequent instability of these boards, that using Word, or similar, is necessary if you are doing much more than a sentence. Even if short posts, I usually always 'select all', and 'copy'. I feel your 'pain', Todd.

Oh man, you still use VI? I thought VI was outlawed a few years ago as being too outdated. Get in the PC world, man!

I've been there myself, Todd. And if I recall, you were pestering me to get meet pictuers up when I lost them just the way you did... but they weren't there at all when I went back Took an hour and a half to redo So I feel your pain!!!
