Arg! What chutzpah!

I have reported his listings several times since he posted the FIRST one. It was actually SOLD

people are so disappointing sometimes. :( Who do you report it to? It makes me so mad they will ruin it for everyone over a few bucks! :furious:

I expect that at some point vmk staff may start bidding on code generator or "buy 1000 codes" auctions in an attempt to flush out and ban these sellers! We all read Yavn's message in the newsletter. He is not happy!

i reported it through ebay's contact page - it is essentially hacking software, if you look at it from that perspective.

I suggest everyone contact the BIDDERS and tell them how to get the codes quickly like we all do.

This guy really takes the cake.

For anyone who is not up on the latest VMK News, please be aware that using codes from a generator will result in a ban.

Yavn:
1. Hacking Tools and Cheating
Nothing, and I do mean nothing upsets me more than a cheater or person who uses a tool to cheat or exploit VMK. Hacking and cheating unbalances the game and gives cheaters unfair advantages. You have them to thank for more non tradable items. If you're one of the people using a cheat or hack to take advantage of the game, watch out, we will find you and ban you. Plus, just because you find a bug in something does not make it OK to take advantage of it.
I would be very wary of anyone selling large numbers of codes on Ebay as they could be using a "back door" to obtain them.

The sale of such a program really amounts to fraud since it is known to violate VMK values and several TOS amd the use of it would allmost certainly amount to a ban You would think e-bay would stop the sale since it wouldbasicly be an illeagal transaction.

well, ebay does not and should not care whether it violates VMK values. Disney does not own ebay and VMK values are not a part of "the law". This program however, is essentially a "hacking" program, which violates ebays policies. NOT THE LAW. It is NOT an illegal transaction. It is against EBAY policy.

as for the little thing in the newsletter... never mind

Well I had the courage to write a question to this person which from my experience in ebay auctions will show on the auction page also :) Trust me I wanted to rant a bit more in it but did not want any trouble with ebay too lol but hopefully someone gets the message and the warning from it

Melp,

That is incorrect, it will not show up in the auction, not unless the seller decides to put it there.

He's from the UK, and he's bought phone service on line with this account. I would be willing to bet a Sparrow hat that this guy is, in fact, vmkstar!

This is sad, what is more sad is that people will actually bid on this.

this is his second auction. The first one sold for $100

I have seen the first auction. Since I don't participate in online bidding I really could do nothing.

The real thing that bothers me is why someone would want to pay $100 to hack and get codes. In other words, why would someone pay $100 for a ban?

because they dont use the codes, shadow, they sell them. But even if they did, there is ZERO way for vmk to tell which codes were done the "right" way or not, no matter what they say. All they have are speculation and guesswork.

His auction for codes (check the "seller's other listings" button) is a scam too, to avoid ebay fees. he tells people "DO NOT BID" right there in his listing. He's trying to get people to pay $9.95 for 1,000 codes by going straight to his paypal account. And the auction is for one penny, but $19.95 for shipping. This is all to avoid paying ebay. He'll be shut down for sure.

The latest Stitch hat on ebay (seeking $275!) is clearly from somebody who got bitten by vmkstar.

Stitch Hat on eBay

That seller sure has a lot of candles and rockets. Fire sale before they go back into the stores?!?!

dark, I reported that too, the day he listed it - it never was cancelled. So far I have reported this guy about 25 times, and yet, his auctions are still there. Even though he is clearly in violation of ebay rules.
