I was looking at the ARES site, and it looks like they sell vouchers for Minnie and Friends at Plaza Inn and Ariel's Princess celebration at Ariel's Grotto for $27.49 ea., and dinner buffet at Goofy's for $35.16 ea. Does anyone know if this is a savings? Has anyone used these vouchers, and was it a good experience? :surfweb:

I bought character breakfast vouchers here for Minnie & friends, but I only bought them because I bought my tickets here too. If you do order them, I think that you may be able to still have them shipped but I had to pick mine up at guest services because I ordered too close to my date to have them shipped.

We have done Minnie & friends character breakfast before and loved it! I am not sure how much of a savings this is though.... I thought that we paid less for our tickets, but I could be wrong.

weird difference , getawaytoday has the character meals for
26.50 b-fast
26.50 ariel lunch
35.00 for goofy's dinner
podcast code gets you the shipping free.

Wow! That is interesting, I will have to check this out. Thanks for the code! :goodvibes

Quick question--

I have priority seating reservations for Minnie and Friends and Ariels' Lunch, can I purchase these vouchers and use them when we get to the park? I'm sure I can, just wondered if anyone could confirm.

Thanks
Gianna

Gianna, I am still trying to figure this out. When I made my PS, I was told that the price through Disney included all tax and gratuity. I am trying to find out if I buy the vouchers through someone else, will they include both as well.

I'd like to know this also..and what is the current price without any discount? BTW, Ariel's Grotto has a 10% discount with AAA so this is a thing to consider also.

Me again. I just checked AllEars and the pricing was from 07, but it is:
Adults, 25.99 plux tax
Kids 3-9, 13.99 plus tax

Is that still waht it is? I know they will add gratuity because of our party size. How about the kids under 3? Do they add extra food or do they just figure they won't eat enough to matter?
Since it's family style, is it enough? My sons eat alot.

:confused3

nunzia, I confirmed with Disney Dining that those rates are correct. :goodvibes

I was told that our brunch at Goofy's Kitchen would be $ 32.21 per adult with all tax and gratuity, $17.34 for children 3-9.

I started thinking, though, that I shouldn't pre-pay this meal anyway, but instead use my Premium AP for a 15% discount...they can't take that off of the pre-purchased voucher. After adding back in the tax and gratuity (which is roughly 24% of the full price), it is $28.31 per adult.

I still want to know if the prices of the pre-paid vouchers also include the tax and gratuity. And I can't seem to find Goofy's Brunch, only Dinner Buffet? If it is the same as the other breakfast/or lunch prices, it might be cheaper that way, as long as the fees are included. :confused3 It may just be easier to pay the AP rate! :rotfl2:

The vouchers I have purchased from AAA and Costco and GAT have all included tax and tip.

With GAT the vouchers include tax and gratuity. Not sure about ARES... but I would assume so.

When we purchased ours from ARES, it included everything. We did not have to pay anything additional when we got there. And we had DS2 & DS1, and no one said anything about them when we got there. Again, we ate at Minnie & friends, both boys had plenty to eat since it was buffet style. FYI- for any of those out there who have kids that drink milk or chocolate milk while in DL... they have all the bottled drinks out on the buffet at Minnie's, and they are included in the meal. So we made sure to grab a couple extra for afterwards! :rolleyes1 Otherwise you are paying a couple bucks each anywhere else!
