A friend is going to rent me points to stay at the BCV and I've never stayed there before(only BWV). I know requests aren't guaranteed, but I don't feel it hurts to have them added to your reservation.

What is a good area of BCV to request? I'll be getting a studio and I want to be somewhat close to the parking lot as we tend to use our car quite a bit, but not too far from the Epcot entrance/walk to BW. I don't know how the buildings are numbered as I've never seen a map of the BCV's. Is there any location preferred over another? I know we'll use SAB, but that's not high priority for location. Is it best to request a location near an elevator-like at BWV? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I would request a lower floor, pool view in order to be close to the parking lot. We stayed in a 2 bedroom on the third floor with a pool view in November. It wasn't what we requested, but we really enjoyed the view. We even had a view of some of the fireworks from Wishes. I think your chances of getting a pool view close to the parking lot will be pretty decent as most people I think request the epcot view. Any of the rooms at BCV are not too far from the Epcot/Boardwalk walkway.

the walkway from that end of the resort - edited to add, by the second elevator:) - leads directly to the parking lot:)

Pool view is our favorite too but it doesn't mean that you will be next to the parking lot. We had a great 3rd floor quiet view room that was on the exact opposite end of the resort from the parking area.

If your main desire is being close to the car, I would request near self-parking lot. If you don't mind using the stairs, there is a stairway at the entrance from the parking lot, then a lower level request might be good. If stairs are out, due to strollers or bad knees, then a request of near the pool elevator might be good (there are two elevator locations). We were a couple rooms from the self-parking lot and it was very handy.

FYI, the parking lot is not far, even from the farthest room from the parking lot at BCV.

They probably don't get a lot of requests to be near the parking lot.

The rule of thumb is make one or two important requests and try and leave it at that. The more requests you have, the harder it can be for the room assignor to meet them.

For example, I might say non smoking, non handicapped, ground floor.

All the views from BCV are nice. So maybe if the view isn't a huge deal to you, leave that out.

And the BCV are located in a single building with basically three wings. It's small, convenient to everything and nothing is too far away. Go with the pool view, non-smoking. That's what we always get.
