Hi everyone! I just heard that the Hilton across from DTD offers character dining. Does anyone happen to know the price for their character breakfast?

Does anyone know of other hotels that offer a cheaper character experience?

Just looking for something less expensive than Chef Mickey's...Thanks in advance!

I know that the Holiday Inn Downtown Disney offers a character meal a few times a week, but am not sure of the cost. At any rate, it HAS to be cheaper than the $80 we spent 2 years ago at Chef Mickey's for breakfast!!!;) If you goggle it, just make sure you have the right Holiday Inn. There is another one in Lake Buena Vista and it boasts being close to Disney, but the one I'm referring to is the hotel at DTD.

Also, The Swan or Dolphin has a character dining option, but I'm not sure if it will be closer to Disney food prices or not. Worth checking into, though. I am!

You should google "Downtown Disney Hotels." There is a website that has like 5 or 6 DTD resorts and it will list pics, amenities, prices, etc. Seems I remember there being a few hotels right there that did offer character dining at least a few times a week.

Thank you for the info!!

After reading your tips, I was able to find the hotels on property. The Wyndam offers a character dining breakfast for $22 adults/ $11 child Tues/Thurs/Sat---Goofy and Pluto are there, no reservations req'd. This sounds like a great option to me to save over $40 for my family of 4!!

The Swan offers one as well on Sat/Sun but is still 29.99 for adults (can't remember what they said about children--i think $15)...

Thanks so much!!

Are the characters "real"? Are they Disney licensed?
