Area Code 727 in FLA

Hey everyone. When I went home for lunch today, there was a FLA phone number on my caller ID with a 727 area code. I don't know anyone in FLA other than good ol' Mickey Mouse at WDW! Could this have been Disney (I know, not area code 407)? Can't think of why someone else would call Canada long distance.

I have thie area code. I live in the St. Petersburg, Florida area. Now, I know Disney has a reservation center in Tampa, but the Tampa area code is 813.

727 is also New Port Richey's area code!

That's weird. I started getting calls from a Florida area code other than 407 (can't recall which one) soon after I started booking this upcoming trip. I'm always afraid I missed a call from the Mouse, but they never leave a message. The calls do happen within a day or two of every call I make to Disney, though... (ADRs, etc) I wonder if it's some sort of satisfaction survey?

Hmmm ... I DID modify my reservations on Sunday, so that would make it two days after. Weird.

Do a reverse phone number look-up on the internet. The same thing happened to us and when we looked it up it was a magazine subscription seller.
