State's Gasoline Prices Spike
New Jersey's relatively low gasoline prices won't last. Some experts say that the threat of war with Iraq may send New Jersey gasoline prices skyrocketing. One analyst predicts gas prices will hit $2.10 per gallon by mid-April. On average, gasoline prices have increased 13 cents in the past month. At the same time, home heating oil has jumped 25 cents per gallon.
