Are you trying all new restaurants or sticking with favorites?

We are trying 3 new restaurants this trip and really looking forward to them.

Flying Fish
Jiko
Tchoup chop at the Royal Pacific in Universal.

We're also doing a mix of old and new for our September free dining trip...

Repeats: Le Cellier, Boma, San Angel, Concourse, Coral Reef

New: Le Chefs de France, Mama Melrose

Now we don't hit these repeats on every trip. It's been a while since we were at San Angel and Boma so we're looking forward to going back.

And since we're also going to be there in November during NJ Teachers' Convention week (11/4-11/11), we'll maybe try a few other new places and go back to some favorites as well.

We're doing some new and some repeats:

New:
‘Ohana
Le Cellier
Coral Reef
1900 Park Fare

Repeats:
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey’s
Sci Fi Dine In
Rainforest Cafe
Whispering Canyon Café

We mix it up also

repeats
Boma
Chef Mickey
Cape May
Earl of Sandwich
ESPN
New
Whispering Canyon
Sci Fi

We tend to be adventurous eaters (even DD6, to a degree), so we're looking to try new things every trip.

This year, all of our ADR's, with the exception of two, are different than last year. As far as those two go, last year we did Chef Mickey's for dinner and 'Ohana for breakfast. This year, we are doing Chef Mickey's for breakfast and 'Ohana for dinner.

There are two reasons there are so many restaurants in Disney: 1) So we can find and taste new kinds of food, and 2) so some people can find food they like. One acquaintance goes to Disney, but hates eating there. He says that he rents a car so he can go to good restaurants, like the Olive Garden and Outback. To my mind (besides the fact that I don't care for Olive Garden and despise the food at Outback), here in Pittsburgh, you can't swing a Mickey bar on a string without hitting a chain restaurant, so why go there in Orlando? :confused3

Repeating:

Boma
San Angel Inn
Crystal Palace

Trying:

Le Ceiller
Jiko
Garden Grill
Spirit of Aloha

This summer its half and half for me. I am still eating at some favorites such
as Jiko, 1900 Park Farem and Boma. I am also trying new places like Yachtmans Steakhouse, Narcosees, Brown Derby, and V&A. :goodvibes

last trip we branched out and tried new TS for 3 of our 4 TS ADRs. And I am glad we did- 2 of them we will DEFINITELY return to. Those would be Chefs de France and Crystal Palace for dinner.

In October we are trying Princess Breakfast, CP breakfast and Donald's Breakfast....all new for us

In Dec we are trying Boma for breakfast and dinner, 1900 Park Fare for breakfast, Kona for breakfast, Whispering Canyon for breakfast, Mama Melrose for dinner and Le Cellier for dinner

We're doing both, but the REALLY BIG thing for me is, I haven't booked every night's dinner! I've actually left us some 'spur of the moment' time. Granted, I'll probably regret it! :p I tend to like to know where we're eating, which park we need to be in, etc. I'm an organizer if ya can't tell! :teeth:

We're trying 1900 and Le Chefs de France for the first time, and going back to 50's Prime Time Cafe. I have two more TS credits to figure out, so we'll see how we feel at the time. We're also going to Rainforest Cafe (DD's fav for the atmosphere), but that's all I've got planned for now.

We're staying at the Boardwalk Villas, so I'm sure the two TS will be used there or at Epcot.

12 days to go! :cool1:

We're mostly trying new places. Our only repeats are Crystal Palace for breakfast, Beaches & Cream, and Le Cellier.

Our new places:
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Spirit of Aloha luau
Artist Point
Coral Reef
Cape May Cafe breakfast
Hollywood & Vine Playhouse Disney breakfast
Spoodles
Sci-Fi for lunch
O'hana

I can't wait to try all of the new places!!

We just got back from Disney and we did some of these.

IMO

Spirit of Aloha - Not worth the money for the food, but the show is excellent. Doubt we will do again.

Coral Reef - LOVED IT!!! Will always be on my list

Cape Maye Cafe - It was okay, and at least I can say we've tried it.

Spoodles - Excellent! Ranked almost as good as Coral Reef

O'hana - This was fun. Good food, and beautiful view of Cinderella's castle

Garden Grill - It was fun to see Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. The rotating restaurant was interesting. Food was okay. Don't think we'll be doing this one again either

Mama Melrose's FDP - This was worth it just for the Fantasmic seats. The food was very good.
