Are you tempted to sale your points?

Are you guys just looking at the posted sales prices or did someone actually sell for $90 per point??? It almost looks like someone decided to give it a try and see if someone wanted BCV badly enough to pay $90 per point...ditto for the $80 contract because it hardly has any points on it.

This scenario almost has me thinking about HH points since its drive-able now. A small HH contract to go with my VWL. I'd love to be able to go to the beach in season and HH & VB prices seem to be suffering under what will probably be a tiered resale market.

Not even! Well, we've only been members since 2003 and we only have 175 points at BCV. I'm basically self employed and my "self motivation" reward is that if I have a good year this year, I will buy more points, preferrably BCV.

I must admit I have been number crunching too. The maintance and taxes seem to keep crawling up and we have just not used our points the way I had thought we would. I'm doing good to get banked points used before I turn around and bank an entire years worth into the next year. I have been on this trend for several years now. Renting just seems like a pain so I'm toying with the idea. When we bought we paid $67 per point.

I hit the WRONG button!!!!

thanks,

Yup. I have a 45Feb that I think I'm going to try and post on Tug and if I can get 90ppt. then I'd sell. I have 150 Dec. BCV so I'd probably take the $$ and buy some more VWL points:)

I periodically fantasize about selling our Beach Club points at a high rate and turning around and buying a resale with the money I'd earn. In my fantasy I get lots MORE points than I have now, at OKW and the Wilderness Lodge. Unfortunately, I barely scraped through my college math classes and I have no way to know if this evil plot would even theoretically work. But it is fun to daydream! :teacher:
