Are you team princess or team villain?

I went with other. The early Disney princesses (IMO) were basically helpless damsels waiting to be rescued and held no interest for me. The newer 'princesses' are more interesting. Youngest DD really liked Mulan, older one has always been a Beauty and the Beast fan. I appreciate Moana and the newer movies in which they take action, and do not consider them princesses at all. I have never really been a villain fan either, though agree they have generally been more interesting.

To be fair, while I love Maleficent and her presence, I may not really be "Team Princess" so much as I am "Team Phillip." That dude's a legitimate action hero!

My avatar is a fairy with an attitude. She isn't a villain per se, but she has sass. I like edge, which I give to newer princesses (love Rapunzel). But something about those villains make it exciting. Have to go with Team Villain.

FWIW, I am still irritated Dr. Facillier is not on the new Tiana's Bayou Adventure. He's one of my favorites!

Both valid points. She is pretty ruthless.

In all honesty, my perception is skewed because I really fell in love with her in the newer (2010’s) Tinkerbell movies my dd used to watch incessantly. Call me a bad Disney fan, but I’ve only seen Peter Pan once and that was when I was a kid.

I just watched it again last week. Really, neither Peter Pan nor Tinkerbell are particularly likable characters. At least Hook doesn't pretend to be a nice guy.

Yeah, Peter Pan is a crazy movie. Peter is a borderline sociopath and Tink is literally murderously jealous. I always say that the only character who acts responsibly in that movie is the dog! Good for you, Nana.
