I am a proud subsciber to TGM and LOVE reading his info. But just yesterday -maybe it was the beautiful 75 degree weather, maybe the fact that kids spring break is coming up (week of Mar 27) - we decided to look into an end of March trip. Are we crazy? Will it be packed? I love TGM, but we've never been during a busy season. I hear his RAVE reviews - I'm still nervous to take the plunge. Please assure me it works!! I REAAAALLLLY want to book a trip to Disney!!

By the way, thanks TGM for the sponsorship - I hope this doesn't seem like a negative post!!

The worst thing that can happen is that you subscribe, you aren't satisfied and you get your money back.

Now, the best thing that can happen (and almost usually does) is that you can use Mike's advice, go to WDW and have a fabulous vacation!

I say, go for it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

BTW, we have been to WDW during Memorial day weekend, last weekend of June, 4th of July, and first week of December and used Mike's advice every time. Everything went so smoothly, including 4th of July when MK was closed to capacity.

HTH. Have a great trip.

What exactly are you hoping to get out of a subscription? You should make sure your expectations aren't unrealistic for anything that you might purchase.

How can you be nervous about something that has a 100% money back guarantee? :goodvibes

TGM costs about $20. Let's say your trip were to cost you $2000. So you are only spending 1% of your trip's total cost that you can get back if you are not happy! :scratchin

I really don't see where you would be taking a 'plunge'. :confused3

I think she is questioning the informatin about March and busy season, not the subscription.

We went for spring break when I worked at the college, and it was crowded, but anyone with a good solid bit of Disney info, knows how to work around the crowds, if that makes sense.

I went over busy spring break with TGM. It was dead on accurate. We had friends that went during the same time not using the info and did not have such a great time (hey, I told them about TGM but they did not want to subscribe. - You can lead a horse to water...)

You only need to look at december christmas vacation reports to know how accurate he is. So, go for it!!

Put it this way, I went the week after Christmas and the week of Thanksgiving and his plans were dead on. I hope this helps.

I will have to admit, when I first signed up yesterday, I was overwhelmed. However, after I delved into the info, I was amazed and now consider it a bargain. The information on which day to go to which park was worth the price alone - he has specific descriptions for each and every day of the year (not just by day of week). Although I too consider myself a WDW veteran, his info for a busy-July trip has already proven invaluable to me. Thanks, Mike.

I love TGM and feel like his site is important for planning ESPECIALLY at busy times of the year.

We used TGM in November during Jersey Week. I have read a few trip reports which said how crowded the week was. Our wait times all week, using TGM info, were minimal if any.

Both TGM and TouringPlans.com have a real low risk and high reward associated with either service. You'll spend far more at a meal at WDW than you will on either service :)

Ooo, this is awesome. This helps a bunch as I was wondering the same thing. I'll be going next year in March or April.

I think you have to be realistic in what you expect the service to be able to deliver. The info is unrivaled in detailed. The touring plans will work if all the elements are there, however surely no one believes that TGMike is a miracle worker and never are you going to run into a snafu that did not adhere to the plan.

That would be ridiculous and if that was possible it would certainly cost more than he charges for his service. :thumbsup2

Personally, I find it pretty easy to find out what I need to know via this site and other Disney information sites, and for free. But TGM, for a fee, gives that to you without having to research quite so much. I guess it's all up to which is worth more to you - your time or a little bit of money. I'm a cheapskate, so I spend a lot of time on here doing research for my upcoming trips.

BTW - I find it amazing that the OP of a certain other thread blasting TGM has not posted an opinion on this thread, which specifically and earnestly asks for opinions on TGM's service.

Mike's advise is right on target. We used him in October and I have re-subscribed for May. Just being my DH and myself lately, we customize his plans to fit what we want to see and do and are amazed at how much we get done with time left over to relax! Have fun!!! :thumbsup2
