I am coming over from England to get married in Celebration Hotel and am a bit lost with American traditions - we want to keep the wedding American!!

Are you supposed to invite the officiant to the reception?? How about his wife? We have never met him but we have spoke via e-mail and i don't want to appear rude and not invite them if we are supposed to!

How about the wedding co-ordinator?? Do you invite her?? Am I supposed to buy a gift for her, what do I get and how much should I spend??

Sorry for all the questions!!!

I'm not sure if it's etiquette or not to invite the Officiant but I was told that Rev Jack always declines such invitations anyway.

Your wedding co-ordinator will be far too busy to actually have time to be at your reception.

A gift is a great idea for your wedding co-ordinator and/or your Officiant, or you can tip both should you wish too. There are "said" rules in place that say that you cannot give more than a $75 monetary tip to your wedding co-ordinator but I know brides who have spent more on their gifts to same.

thanks for the tip!! We are having reverend Kevin Knox, I should probably invite him even if he declines I think??????

I was thinking of getting vouchers for my wedding co-ordinator, would that be ok do you think??? Any suggestions to which shop??!!!
