Are you still seeing Flu in your area?

DS has had flu since Friday with a high temp range of l01 to 103. Took him to the ER andthe dr there said they are seeing a lot of flu cases.

He has no othe symptoms besides high temp and body aches, fatigue. Strange.

Anyone else have this flu? HOw long did your temp last?

There's a nasty stomach bug going around here, but I haven't heard anything about the flu lately..

Just to the south of you, herc, the state epidemiologist for Iowa declared the influenza season over last week.

Ive got it apparently. I feel horrible today! a slight fever but A LOT of aches and pains and weakness.

Hope ds feels beter really soon!

Me, too. I'm getting ready to go to the doctor's....on tops of that, I have a really bad earache, a really sore throat, a yucky cough, and uh...lots of yucky stuff in that cough.

Deb, you guys sent all the germs north, LOL. DS just started ajob at Mayo last week, and now he's sick already....

binny, and steph, take it easy, flu is no fun. When DS was at the ER, they had him consume 4 glasses of ice water and 2 quarts of tepid water in a 2 hr period. So drink till you drop!

Haven't heard of anyone with flu like symptoms in these parts, lots of Strep throat however (my son had it last week, luckily nobody else in the family caught it.)

One of the worst cases of the flu I've ever had I got while in WDW in April 2001. That really sucked! In fact, I've had the flu twice in the spring time. It seems to rear it's ugly head one more time before bowing out.
