"Are you staying in the park?" What does this mean exactly? :confused3 People ask me this all the time. I usually say "We are staying on Disney property". I don't think any of the resorts are actually "in the park", right? We have stayed at POFQ and are staying at CBR in January. So are we staying "in the park"? Not that it is any big deal, I just don't know how to answer the question and I get it all the time!!!!!

I am fairly certain that when people ask if you're staying "in the park", they mean "are you staying onsite at a Disney resort". Just say "Yes I am" the next time someone asks. LOL :sunny:

The entire Disney property, including the resorts, parks, water parks, etc are considered "Walt Disney World Resort", so you are indeed staying "in the park". ::yes::

I've never heard anyone say this, but I would think it means what you think. Either staying onsite or on the monorail loop.

These would likely be the same bus who when boarding a bus to the MK from CBR ask the bus driver "this bus is going to Disney World right? Cause we don't wanna go to Epcot!" as DW and I witnessed on a trip.:sad2: Or the people who say "and what is that one park with the big golf ball in the middle of it?". :scared1: I guess they can't all be pros like us huh? :wave2:

I agree.

This reminds me when people think Cinderella's Castle IS DisneyWorld...

Those people were probably the same of many who have asked,

"What time is the 3 o'clock parade?"
