I will start. This is my first time going since 6yrs old i am now 34yrs old so what i have seen on these boards are.

1. Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum :scared1:

2. Devine? stilk walking people scare me :scared1:

Ok, I admit it. I am scared of them all! I am trying to get over this fear before my next trip so that I can take some pictures with them...But I don't see that happening!

Anybody have any tips? :bitelip:

I don't like getting my picture with the "face" characters.

Perhaps I feel self-conscious that they can actually "see" me, and therefore judge me for being 25 and wanting my picture with characters. That being said, I have indeed met particularly good-looking Tarzan and Hercules. Perhaps I just have a Princess-phobia.

No wait, there is one character I just find disturbing - The Mad Hatter.

I hope not to offend any MH fans, but I find him creepy (not the CM or anything, the character...although that nose...).

Well i don’t think he's around any more but Dream Finder would always creep me out... I love figment...but could never get near him because of Dream Finder...the guy is just scary

Now I'm not afraid of them at all...I love them to death! However, I have home videos of when I was 5 and PETRIFIED of them! I sit there watching them SCREAMING at the television that they're not going to hurt that wack child. Then I remember that it's me and feel like I lost so many good Kodak moments. I feel deprived of that Disney visit! ...poor lost memories...

As for tips, I don't really have any good ones. I just see them and think (and sometimes say louder than intended) 'hey, that was the character from my favorite book when I was 3' or 'hey, i had a winnie the pooh themed birthday party when I was 4' or things like that. I may not be 5 anymore but they are still a HUGE chunk of my childhood and still are.

I enjoy the characters and even though I am 45 I still like to get a picture with them once in a while.....

All except for.....

One day we were walking at D/MGM and went around the corner and there was DARTH VADER walking towards us.

It was all I could do not to wet myself.

LOL! I'll admit that I was freaked out by the Masqurade people that used to walk around Italy over in Epcot. ONe took my 6 yr. old DD's hand and walked her over to a bench. I frantically looked for something heavy and blunt . . .

If it were dark and he was making the breathing sounds, I'd probably been looking for some new Disney underwear myself.

My DD6 was always terrified of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and also Geppetto for some reason !! :confused3
Funny the characters i considered to be more frighteneing for little ones like Jafar and Malicifent she was fine with !
