Our DDE card is expiring next month and we are undecided as to whether or not we want to renew.

For those who currently have a DDE card, will you be renewing for another year, and why?

I got my DDE card on a weekend trip and saved more than I spent on the DDE. It works great for us!!!

In the two trips we took last year to WDW we saved over $300.Well worth the $60 IMO. And remember it is a 20% discount on your adult beverages too! :goodvibes

We also have the DDE card and have saved LOTS of money with it. However, now that you can purchase Disney Dining plan as a passholder I am not sure if we are going to renew it when it comes time. If we do the DDP each trip I am just not sure if it makes sense to have the DDE card. So at this point I am undecided .

already renewed ours. we don't do the dining plan and feel that the 20% savings provided by DDE on food and alcoholic beverages is well worth the annual fee.

We did not renew ours this year because we decided to not renew the AP's. We are just going to stick with the WDW travel company packages from now on-especially now that we can get the deluxe dining plan. It's perfect for our family.

We purchased ours for the first time last month and it is good for 13 months and since we go about 4-6 times a year it will save us alot of money...it paid for itself in the first 2 days. Plus we usually tip 20-25%, since they automatically tip 18% on top it is saving us even more money

We have done the math every way conceivable, and we always end up saving more money with the DDE than the DDP!!! My daughter is only 13, but she still orders from the kid's menu because she likes to graze in small amounts all day!!! The DDP for her is a waste of money!! Many times, she and I will split an entree.

Absolutely, because it saves me a great deal of cash. and it is a bit more flexible than a dining plan.

I voted yes - but that technically isn't my answer. We are not renewing. Our last DDE card expired in January. We aren't returning until November so we will buy a new card in November. We like the DDE card way better than the dinning plan. We eat at a lot of signature restaurants and always have wine or a cocktail during the evening meal so the DDE works best for us. The auto gratuity doesn't really effect us because we always tip 20% so the 18% will be find and we'll save a few more dollars.

Yes, we will renew. Last year, we added all the costs of our meals and the DDE saved us more than the DDP, even with the cost of the card.

We both had DDE before we met. Now we have combined and only renew one card. We like the flexibility of DDE. On vacation, we do not want to keep track of how many credits a particular place will take, how many are left, etc. Also, with all the food that comes with DDP, it seems like a waste.

Good thing Disney still has DDE for those of us who want to use it!
