Yes, this is the weekend that we turn the clocks ahead one hour! :woohoo: More daylight and more of this.. :sunny: It is starting to warm up some here in S. Jersey Spring is in the air! :goodvibes

I'm happy about the extra daylight :sunny: , but dread losing the hour of extra sleep  Monday I will be dragging butt!

Don't forget...changing the clocks also means it's time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors.

I love springing ahead!!!! :thumbsup2

I makes me feel like floating in my pool is not that far away :cool1:

:teeth: We take the hour out whenever we want to during the weekend, so we don't lose sleep!

I can't wait for it to stay lighter longer! That means more garden time for me. :sunny:

:thumbsup2 yeah spring !!!!! the pastor announced this over and over in church on Sunday--if you don't change your clocks we'll all be waving goodbye to you when you get to church! :rolleyes1 :wave2:

this is our first time clock changing! I am not sure if I will like this or not. I am a morning person, so I like my extra sunshine in the morning, not in the evening!!

Yipeee!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I can't wait! I have a very hard time seeing to drive at night, so this will give me more time to do errands in the evening.. :thumbsup2

I'll never forget the year we had our son Christened. It was the Sunday of the time change. My sister, was always early to every party. It actually had become very annoying. My other sister's and I would joke about it, because she wasn't just being punctual, she needed to "control" the party. Even though she wasn't the host.

Anyway, this particular day, she never even showed up at the Church. Funny, we thought, she wouldn't miss it, but maybe she was running late and decided to go to the house. When we got back to the house and she still wasn't there, we really started to worry. Where could she be? She is ALWAYS the 1st one anywhere. I mean, serious worry.

She came in, and had not set her clock ahead. OMG...it was too funny. We told her why we were so worried. We had a good laugh for a while.

This is worth repeating. And if your smoke detectors are more than 10 years old, even if they test o.k., they should be replaced.

It will be interesting. Indiana is finally entering the 21st century. We'll be going to Daylight Savings time for the first time in a very long time. I'm actually looking forward to it myself.

NOOOOOOO

I hate losing the hour of sleep. Seriously, it throws me for a loop (heck the extra hour in November does too). I haven't slept more than 4 hours a night in the last week and with no end in sight to that. Losing another hour is just plain bad :guilty:

I hate this changes. I think it is a waste of time and we should just do standard time only. One does not get more daylight with this, but an adjustment to when sun up/down is.

DD is planning to make some money going to senior citizen homes and changing the clocks for them. :teeth:

This time change business may cost the governor his job :confused3

I will be in Orlando at the Royal Pacific when it's time to spring forward... thank goodness because it's always hard for me when I have to work!! :cool1:

We jumped this past Sunday and I am enjoying the extra daylight.
