My best advice is to introduce yourself in the Who's Who section, and then start reading the Backspace Gold section. Also, if you have any questions at all, please dive right in and ask. They're a great group, with every level of writer. And if you get the chance, attend the Backspace conference in May. It's really incredible. I've belonged to many sites, but they all pale in comparison.

I have numerous scientific publications....but unless you are interested in the the underlying mechanisms of reinforcement in the brain, I guess you haven't read them! Heck, my own family won't read them!

Ditto. Does anyone but a handful of scholars care about my take on fairly obscure George Eliot works, such as Felix Holt?! LOL

I wrote a Chicken Soup story once. You can see it in the excerpt from the book page on their site.

I never really wrote anything else. That would require me to sit for long periods of time...which I can't seem to do.

The really good thing about the Chicken Soup people is that if you've written something else of have some sort of organization you are trying to promote, they'll let you put it in your bio. Incidently, mine was the first bio from the book and it was inadvertently left off of the final copy.
