I seem a little late to the party! We are heading to DL Dec. 3-7th and will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel (first time staying on site...and I simply cannot wait!). This will be our DDs first trip. She'll be 1 1/2 at the time.

My hubby and I are going to Disneyland December 11th to the 15th, we will be celebrating our 7th year Anniversary and this will be kind of like the honeymoon we never had, lol.... We have our reservations at the Disneyland Hotel and I just can't wait?? If anyone has ideas or suggestions of odd things to do or little known things to do at Disneyland please pass on the information....

So far, it's just December 7th for me and DH - my birthday. I might have my AP by then and will gladly use the gift card instead. (note to self - how many Tigger Tails can I buy?) Or maybe upgrade my AP to premium. We'll see. I think I might also make reservations at GCH for the night of the 6th so we won't have to deal with Monday morning SoCal traffic to get there. I'm excited, just him & me. How nice of Disney to honor my 59th birthday.

We are booked at Hojo's from December 7th-12th!!! I went to Disneyland as a child, but DH has never been, and it will also be the first trip for our two girls, who will be 5 and 7. So DH and I are super excited. We haven't told the girls yet, but I'm working on a fun and creative way to tell them

One suggestion I would make is to look into the tours! We did the holiday tour last year and we really enjoyed it! You walk around and learn about the holiday decorations, ride the haunted mansion and IASM since they're decorated for the holidays and then have prime seated viewing of the Christmas parade (besides the free cocoa and gingerbread cookie and pin)! There were mainly couples in our group.

Also, we had chocolate covered mickey strawberries sent to our room when we arrived and that was a fun surprise. We also had a cake made for my DD's birthdays which tasted great!!!

We are at the Hojo from December 12-19!

My hubby and I, along with the two youngest, will drive the 12 hours to Disneyland. The oldest, in college on the east coast, will fly in on Sunday after her last final on Saturday. We will pick her up from LAX, spend the rest of the week in Disney and then all five of us will drive home together!

I am so excited about this trip. We had originally planned to stay at Candy Cane, but our newst bundle of joy meant we would need two rooms per night, and they only have connecting rooms in the deluxe rooms. It started to seem like a lot of money since we would need a second room.

We then planned for Carousel Inn's Park View Suite with three queen sized beds, but it was over 216 dollars a night and only came with ONE bathroom. Are you kidding me, who designed that thing?

When the family suites were finally opened, I called and got the Entertainment rate of $99 a night for a two room suite with two bathrooms. It will be a bit more of a walk, but my son is thrilled with the pool and my hubby is looking forward to Mimi's.
