I cannot seem to stop reading these Boards or my Unofficial Guide even though I am not going on my trip until December and everything is pretty much planned out! I am so addicted!

I have learned so much here, and want to thank everyone. It's great fun to read about other's ideas and see what else I can plan for this trip (or future ones!). I just wonder if I have a problem since I find myself closing my computer screen whenever someone in my family comes in the room so they don't find out how much time I'm spending here - LOL! And I hide the guide book under the bed :).

Anyone else?

OMG!!!! You sound just like me!!!! I close out this window as soon as I hear my husband coming.... I'm so embarrassed to be on it again!!! We have all of our PS's, our hotel, etc... what else is there to do, right? Well - obviously I can't convince myself of that. Good luck with your addiction - mine is incurrable:crazy:

Welcome Sunnygirl,
Yes, I too am obsessed! My trip is completely planned too (finally almost here). I have been planning since I guess Feb since that is when I became a DIS'er. I've been on this site pretty much every waking minute!
I am almost sad now. The planning has been so much fun and now it is almost over. Well, I feel like I've been able to help others even though I haven't been to WDW in years! I have learned so much from this website (oh, and I have borrowed EVERY Disney planning book - yes, EVERY SINGLE ONE - from the library). I now have helped 2 other friends plan their trips!
Have a great time on the boards!

Hey sunnygirl,
You replied to my question on the opening ceremony. Will you PM to tell me exactly where to stand so we see the ceremony? I DO NOT, repeat DO NOT, want to miss it! Or just put another post on my thread? THANKS!
Here is something fun to keep you in the Disney mood while surfing the DIS, go to www.mouseworldradio.com & you can listen to the sounds of the world while you are on the computer! The only problem is that dh will be able to HEAR you on the computer now!!

edited to add - THANK YOU SUNNY! Out of curiosity, where are you staying on your 1st trip onsite? We'll be renting DVC points for a 2bed VWL. Can't wait to see WL!!!

ErininCt,

Thanks for the link to the music. I'll have to try it when no one else is around :D . I added that info you requested on your thread. Hope that helps!

And it is so nice to hear that I am not the only obsessed planner out there!!! :sunny: Thank you, brave souls, for identifying yourselves!

I'm addicted to planning and the Dis! Looks like we'll be there the same time as AFMom and SunnyinCT!

Steph

October WDW all planned on an Excel spreasheet and all PSs and recreational reservations made! PassPorter ready!

I haven't planned anything for October trip (unexpected) to DL yet, though!

I'm guilty as well. I bought myself a folder and printed out a fancy cover with all Disney clip art. All my travel reservations are in there, the Navigators for the ship, shore excursion print-outs, park hours and fireworks/parade schedules, rental car reservation.

I still have to do my character breakfast PS and figure out shore excursions, but it's hard because my family thinks I'm crazy doing all this as it is!

I don't want to be a drill sergeant on vacation, but I'd like to have a flexible game plan.

Oh yeah, I'm also working on trimming down the "what to pack" list that was posted so that I have a list of relevant things.

Oh yeah, I'm guilty. I've been reading the Disboards getting inof on MVMCP, and we're not going until December '05! I love reading all these threads, it just gets me more excited! Happy planning all!

::yes::

It is really bad when you are not planning a trip and still here all the time!!!;)

I am very obsessed and had things all planned out and now due to Frances I have had to change things two differnt times..believe this one is a go!!! If I did not have DIS and all this good info I would be lost right now...so glad to be obsessed!!!.....:sunny:

My DH is as crazy as the next!! We bought the 2004 Unofficial Guide. Soon after the 2005 Guide was published, I've caught him going into several different book stores to read up on what's not in the 2004 Guide. Trust me you're not alone, if there was a 12 Step Program for this addiction, meetings would have to be held every hour to accomodate all the Disney Fans!:wave2:

I was guilty when I was planning my trip. And I'll continue to do it until the end of time.

Why do you think we are on these boards, lol? My problem is if I start reading this board when I don't have a trip planned, I beg my husband to go back. In fact, this time I had to enlist a friend from work to go with me, because my husband said "Enough, please!" This board is making me poor (in $$$, not memories).

I am in December too and I keep surfing the boards. You never know what you will learn! I have the guidebook almost memorized but we are not a rich family and this will be our last trip probably as a family to DW due to kids ages and cost so I want to make the most of it!

Whew! Glad to know I'm not alone. I find myself constantly trying to get on here. I'll even say I'm just going to do it for 5-10 minutes.. 2 hours later......

I just want to make sure I have everything planned well!

I found these boards over 2 years ago. I have trouble staying away even knowing that we can't get back until 12/05 at the earliest. But, the Dis is an addiction that I don't mind....at least I get one good laugh a day from it. :D Maggie

Oh yeah! I'm pitiful, I'm so into planning this trip. We just finished making our PS's, and made our original ressies back in March. (Then I had to switch when a great rate was available at AKL. I couldn't resist.) Thanks to allears.net, I already know not only where I want to eat most meals, but what I want to have. And that's just the tip of the iceburg. You should see me scrutinizing the UG and my Passporter trying to figure out the best attraction schedule for me, my parents, DH, and 4 kids. It's a little scary, actually. I'm glad I'm not alone.

Welcome to our world:smooth: I do not turn the computer off though when Dh walks up because he posts under my name when I go to bed. The man loves Disney:)
