I want to know about it!

I'm gathering ideas for my MOH and mom who are planning my summer shower. I already have one theme idea in mind but I'm on the prowl for more!

Thanks ladies! :grouphug:

Yes mine is Minnie Mouse. But more adult like... So we have red and white and black poka dotted stuff :goodvibes

I had 2 showers, so my two MOHs took different approaches.
One asked us to give her our top 5 favorite Disney Movies each, so it ended up each table was a different theme. Then my other shower was strictly Lady and the Tramp theme, because that MOH wanted some Italian food and likes dogs, haha.

I had a Regency/Victorian themed tea party. We had it at a country club, the favors were green tea short bread cookies and tea bags with customized labels that had a damask pattern and quotations from my favorite books. There were assorted tea pots with candies and teacups filled with flowers on the tables. For a present, my girls gave me a teacup Pandora charm and Lenox Mrs. Potts and Chip. :)

I had a Cinderella themed shower! Just subtle touches nothing crazy. If you check out my pj I have pictures up. My aunt made these great pumpkin centerpieces and the cake had the coach on it. The favor was a mickey mouse sugar cookie dipped in chocolate. It was wrapped nicely inside a box that had a pillow with glass slipper on it.

I had a Beauty and the Beast themed shower. The colors were blue, yellow and pink. The centerpieces were roses under domed glass. And the favors were white chocolate teacups and mirrors with roses on them. And the invites matched

My bridesmaids and my Mom are planning it but my Mom asked me for some ideas. I said it would be nice for a Disney World theme since the wedding is themed around Beauty and the Beast. I definitely would like some sort of Disney theme but not something that looks like a child birthday party either. I know the girls will do a great job.

I'm not officially helping plan either but they asked me for my top theme choices!

Thanks for the ideas girls!

I'm having an alice in wonderland theme!

I'm so excited, we ordered teacups with tealight candles for favors, and have small "wonderland" center pieces. Basically a moss hemisphere with tiny silver teacup charms, fabric flowers, and butterflies to create the flower garden Alice wanders through.

We are also having small topiary trees and cut out roses, that can be hung on the trees so guests can "paint the roses red" with words of wisdom for the B2B!

And Alice playing cards with quotes from the book will be used with a spare deck to call card numbers for games!

Lastly, a this way, that way sign upon entering guarded by the white rabbit.
Invitations also stated "don't be late for a very important date, you are invited to an un-bridal bridal shower for the queen of hearts!"

:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

My MOH has planned and executed ALL of this. I'm so excited my shower is in 2 weeks!

Our theme is "Girls Night Out"! We are having it on a Friday night instead of the traditional Sunday morning. Our colours are pink, black and zebra print. We are having a Martini bar and the guest list is ages 12 and up. I am so excited!

I'm have a "Tea Party" instead of a traditional shower.

I'm going to hand paint a set of tea cups and saucers, with a matching tea kettle! My friends have agreed that it will be a perfect fit for my Disney Wedding, they've even agreed to "fancy dresses" lol! :rotfl:
