We do curbside pick up and contactless delivery.
We would not go out to eat at this point even if the restaurants were open

We only get takeout once a week. Many restaurants here set up tents outside to get diners when the governor (Louisiana) said it was ok for outdoor dining. I'm still not ready.

We rarely go out to eat due my kids not behaving all the time. We will support those who are opening with take out orders. If my DH suggested going out, I would do it in a heartbeat.

I doubt I'll be eating at a restaurant for several more months minimum, but Ill continue to get take out once a week.

Not yet. I’m not sure at what point I’ll be comfortable going out to eat but for now we will continue to do curbside and delivery.

Once they are open we are there. We have our favorite restaurant in mind. I know there will be social distancing with the tables and servers will be wearing masks.

We will be next weekend. We had made reservations at a restaurant as it was supposed to be our sons graduation...graduation got canceled, but the restaurant called last week to say they were open. We have less family members coming than original, but we'll still be going to celebrate.

Monday I'll be eating at a restaurant in Alabama. They will be allowing customers inside, with restrictions.
I'm flying down to our condos, to do some work. Bonus, the beaches are open.

I really really want to be supportive but even if the food is hot there is a chance the cups or utensils aren't sanitary and while I want to go it's just not worth it.

Very unnerved by the segment of the population who are bound and determined to prove this is not a valid worry than anything else. I would more likely trust people who are mirroring my concern but it feels like a culture war between resentful business owners / workers and everyone else and chances are servers are not going to be on the same side as me.

This is why one of the expect recovery patterns is W shaped. The idea is that we get the economy going, but we shut it down again in the fall. Then we reopen it again. All this does is spread out the recovery to as late as 2024. It's the pessimistic view, and it could happen because of this culture war.

No...we are in MA which has a lot of cases. But they seem to be dropping over the last three days as well as hospitalizations. Yay! In order to kind of ‘help do our part” to not spread this thing even if we reopen on the 18th, we won’t be dining out for a while. Just too soon for us to be comfortable.
