Smarty is from Kennett ....well of course Chester Co. I lived in Chester Co (West Chester & Valley Forge) almost my whole adult life...just made the jump to Mont Co...but a Chester Countian by heart!

I was born in Northern VA, and live in MD now --D.C. area (Hail to the Redskins!), but...

from age 12-24 I lived in PA. My folks are in Shamokin (Northumberland County, about an hour north of Harrisburg), which is my mother's home town. I atteneded college at Bloomsburg Univ., where I met my wife whose family is from Nazareth (you can hear the speedway from my in-laws house on race day). I also dated a gril from Boyerstown for two years.

Fizban257- We once played Shamokin in a football playoff game when I was in about 7th grade ( 1974 0r 1975 ). Anyway, the saying around town was:

"Bucks ain't jokin'
We're gonna beat Shamokin"
