Are you ever TOO OLD for Disney World??

Me and DH went for the first time last year. I was 30. I felt like I was in heaven. :cloud9:

My grandparents stayed with us for a night while we were at VWL in April. Both were 80 at the time. We took them to Kona Cafe for dinner, and when we finished eating, Grammy, with a grin just like a little kid said, "Do you think we could take a ride on the monorail? PLEASE?!" Later that evening Grampa danced with us (and we're teens) to the music of the EWP on the beach at the WL.
So no, you're never too old

Wow, You made me tear up! What a wonderful memory.

TOO OLD FOR DISNEY? :scared1: NEVER!
You are only as old as you feel. ::yes:: If we keep going to Disney we will be like Peter Pan and never grow up!

I don't think so. I was 40 when I first went to WDW. My wife was worried that I might not like it, but I loved it and still do 20 years later. We now live nearby and have annual passes.

I decided I was "too old" for Universal after about an hour and loved Sea World, but WDW will always be my favorite place to be.

I do think some teenagers might get to stage where they "think" they're too old for WDW, especially with their parents, but I really think they're just not old enough. I believe the older you get the more you appreciate nice thiings.

In 40 years when you are in WDW and you see that 90 year old couple shuffling around the Magic Kingdom it will be my dh and I. Please be nice and don't tell us we are too slow. If we look confused just put us on a ride we will be happy.

My wife and I are in our 50's and still enjoy visiting Walt Disney World. If you love the magic, you'll never be too old. :)

:flower: You are never too old!! I have more fun at WDW now than when I was younger. My parents are 82 and 73 and love  going!! My dad goes on all the coaster rides, TOT, Test Track, etc and has a great time!!
Age in this case is only a number.

I certainly HOPE I'll never be "too old" for it!!! :earseek:

I out grew it when I was 4 1/2 :teeth:

Seriously, I'm 51 and I can't wait for our trip in April. DW and I, 4th trip alone.

I see you know what thread inspired this question

My first trip was in 1993, when I was 32 years old. My latest trip was this past September when I was 44. I loved every minute of every trip. So no, you're never too old.

When we were at WDW in october, we were getting off the monorail at the MK going into MNSSHP. My dd's were dressed as cinderella, and there was an older couple, walking beside us towards the turnstiles of the MK - they were obviously by themselves, and they were talking to my dd's about their costumes, ect... They seemed to be enjoying themselves immensly even though they were older, and had no children with them.. I told my dh that I thought it was so wonderful that they were able to enjoy WDW as much as the younger families and children!

NO WAY!!!!! I WILL CONTINUE TO GO TO WDW UNTIL I TAKE MY LAST BREATH. My aunt joined us this past Easter Sunday at WDW and she is 80! She actually went on Splash Mountain with DD11 and DD25.

You'll see me there when I am 80 too, maybe with a walker or cane, but I'll be there with a huge grin. :teeth:

I spend every Birthday since my 41st at WDW! I  the whole place.

Let's see, DS was 1, so that means my Grandpa was 90. He spent the evening with the grandkids at O'Hana watching my DH and my cousin hula hoop. DH was 33? Cousin was younger - 25. It was a GREAT time! Gramps even got a fruity-umbrella drink!

Gramps turns 95 in February - if we can get him on a plane down here, I'm sure he'd love to visit WDW again.

Nope, never too old.

I'm 64, hubby is 68. We just spent 3 weeks there in Nov. and are going back for 1 week in Jan. and 5 days in Feb.

Since we've been retired 6 years ago we spent at least a month there every year.

My 15 yeard old DD thinks she is too old for our upcoming trip "Dad, I am not a child anymore. I don't want to go to an amusement park" Ugh :confused3

I am proud to be 40 and waiting anxiously to get back to WDW later this month! :wizard:
