I am currently reading "The Purple Emperor". It is a fantasy about life in another dimension. I am about to start "Eldest". It is the second in a series following "Eragon". It is about a dragon.

I just got Goodnight Nobody by Jennifer Weiner out from the library. I'm sure I'll like, her books are great!

Until I Find You by John Irving. I'm about 100 pages into it and its about 800 pages. So far its pretty standard John Irving. Small boy growning up without a father, Mother is a tattoo artist and is now looking for his father in places with large church organs. Like I said, pretty standard John Irving.

Kite Runner
almost done
growing up in Afganistan during the 80's and 90's and class/castes
(much more complicated than that but hey, read the book-it's excellent!!!)

I just finished Wicked and found it somewhat interesting but overall extremely disappointing.

I love to read. However I'm taking a short break from my pleasure reading & hitting the books for school. I wish I could read my books... I'm dying to read so many!! I'll read during Winter Break!!

What I am reading is quite boring....."The Essential C-Section Guide" since I am due to have my first one soon. I love to read and am looking for something more interesting once I am finished with this book. :teeth:

I'm reading The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis to DD5. Does that count?

Yes, because I was just posting to say I am currently reading "The Silver Chair" which is #6 in the series (The Chronicles of Narnia).

I only ever read THe Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe as a kid. I'm really enjoying the whole series now..........................P

Bread Alone by Judith Ryan Hendricks. I'm about 60 pages into it, and it's very good. I was actually going to get The Baker's Apprentice by the same author, then found out it was a sequel to Bread Alone, so I went back and got this one so I could read it first.
