I'll be buying some tomorrow while I'm in NH. I'm not sure why I bother though...I think that I have a better chance of being struck by lightning than being a powerball winner

Hubby went over yesterday to buy our tickets and said he had to wait in a line for 15 minutes. He said when he was finished, the line that formed behind him was again at 15 minutes. I'd say MANY more are playing now.

I don't buy lottery tickets but I can always tell when the Powerball jackpot is especially big because I live in RI, right over the Massachusetts line. When I come home, I come over a hill and at the next corner is a convenience store. It's the first lottery outlet over the line and it's crazy trying to get through the intersection.
