Are YOU arriving Aug. 26th???

It's about that time!!:goodvibes :cool1: We get into MCO at 1:50pm tomorrow, then off to WL. We'll be too excited to sleep tonight!!

Hello all,

Printed boarding passes this morning. Went to the hair salon. The girsl and I are primped and ready to go. Only thing left to do is my manicure and pedicure. My sis is a nail tech so she will be hooking up the girls and I later today.

We'll definately be ready for the P&P party on the 28th.

Everyone travel safe.....be well....have fun!!! :)

Getting ready as well. Our flight lands at MCO at 1:50PM. Still doing last minute packing for the hubby. Everyone get there safe and have a great time. If you see a black female, 5 feet 2 inches with long braids and black framed glasses with a male 5 feet 6 inches and stocky and a young male (7 yrs)sporting a mohawk, That will be us.

:thumbsup2 I will actually be looking for ya! LOL! Wouldn't that be funny if we ran into eachother? "Hey are you Harlemgirl??" "Ummmm:scared: No!" :lmao:

We're a family of 5. 6ft 2 man (with a belly ;) ), 5ft. 9 mom with dark brown hair , a 14yr old boy with glasses that is taller than me, a 9 year old girl with long hair and a 2 year old with short blonde hair.

Save me a spot at the pool!!!:cool1:

I didn't have ink in my stupid printer to print my boarding passes. However, I can retrieve them when I get to the airport. Do I use curbside checking when I arrive at the airport instead of going to the counter? Always went to the counter but wanted to make sure I get on this flight. Flight booked solid.

We have to go to the counter ourselves. I did mine through expedia and have to get my tickets inside. So no curbside for us. :confused3 Plus you have to pay for that.;)

We are on the American Airline 11:10 flight from LaGuardia arriving at MCO at 1:50. I will be going to POR as well. We will probably be on the same bus going to the hotel. I will be wearing a grey walking suit with a pink shirt and white sneakers.

I am not sure what the current rate is but I know I saw the sign when I was there three weeks ago picking up. My DH said about $2 a bag plus tipping. But don't hold me to that!;)

That is not too bad. I think we can swing that. We have two bags. So I figure about $10 all together (including tip).

Hey all,

We are in Florida and I am too excited for words.....just dancing now...lol

Making memories.
Isabell

I am up. DH is finally packing:sad2: Getting ready to head in the shower and wakie the kids. Be there by dinner!

CONGRATS AUGUST 26'ers!! Your day has finally come.

Hope your trips are filled with pixie dust and many new memories!!!

Sandy :)

Well? Who is back and who had a blast??? Come fill in on your trips!

I looked for you Harlem. No little boy with a mohawk that I saw! LOL! But I did run into the ladies from the TR section.....Three woman take on the World. They were on the plane with us! And I got a HI from ShooshBrat at MGM from the board here! She left her calling card. That was a nice surprise.

So come and say HI and tell me about your trips!!!!

unfortunaly we are back home>>> I really tried to move to Main St. USA but there were not apartments for rent. :sad2: but we had a wonderful time! we didn't meet any fellow DISers , but Loved the Pirate & princess party!and i am still stuffed from free dining!!!! oh.. and we are bouncing back Sept 2008. I better start packing! j/k , but i am starting to plan!!!

Well, we had an awsome trip. So sad it's over already and kids went back to school today. Didnt' get any dreams, but We were pleasantly surprised they had bounce back! We booked next September for 5 days of free dining at POR. Wish it could have been longer, but the dates are late next year. The kids will be off for 2 days in September, so we will only have to pull them out for 1 day of school.
Hope you all had magical trips. Harlem, cant wait to hear about how excited your son was when he got the call from Mickey!

No, we aren't heading back next year. We are going to TN and North Carolina. I am actually looking forward to it. This vacation was too action backed!:rotfl2: I need a vacation from my vacation. TN is much more my speed. LOL! But we had fun all the same. Leasons learned.....the dining plan is really not our thing. It was too confusing and we always....always paid for something not listed on the plan at each and every meal! BUT we could have paid for the whole thing so I am therefore not complaining! LOL! I certainly would not want to be a cashier at that park!;) God bless them! And when I was told to pack two outfits...they were not joking. OMG I don't think I ever sweat so much in all my life. Now you would think I would have come back thinner. Not when I am eating so much!:lmao: We LOVED The Lion King and the safari at AK and the girls liked the dino area. We LOVED MGM. I don't think there was anything there we didn't like. And it was great to take the kids to 50's Primtime. I had a blast just watching them. My older son was not impressed with MK. He wanted more rides. But my girls liked it. And I am surprised to say that we all liked Epcot. I only planned for one day there and after looking at the map I expected it to be a short day. Nope. We arrived shortly after opening and didn't leave till 6pm and we still had not gotten to the showcase when we had to leave for dinner reservations. I liked that there was something there for everyone at each location. With an age span of 2, 9 and 14, it is hard to do. I wish we had done one day at MK and two at Epcot. Next time:thumbsup2

We saw no wishes. We only got one day of towel animals which was sad cause the kids LOVED that. I did see a family of DISers in green tees in MGM but couldn't catch up with them. "HI" if that was you!:lmao: The best meal was.... ......hummmm.......I would say maybe Whispering Canyon. That was pretty good. And even my 14 year old loved the entertainment at Hoop Dee Doo.

We got rained on everyday but Monday. With all that heat you would think it would be good. It only made us more sticky!:rotfl: Nothing like putting rain ponchos on a wet, sweaty body in 95 degree heat! Now I know what the microwave feels like! LOL! ANd I didn't get to go on two rollercoasters due to thunderstorms. My kids said I was a jinks as it happened everytime it was our turn to go. LOL!

Delaney (my youngest) didn't like Imagination Movers. But she loved Playhouse Disney and Bears Jamboree. My middle DD found out she liked coasters.;) And I got some great pictures of my 14 year old with characters. They didnt' give him a choice!!:rotfl2: Oh the torture I can do with those!

I, myself, LOVED the POR. We didn't get in the AB section like requested but we got the best mansion on site. And I LOVED the pools. OMG I wish ours was like that. No matter the time of day, rain or shine....it was always nice to swim.

Can't believe some August 26er's are back already! That went super fast-I'm sure you guys feel the same way. Am looking forward to more reviews!
