Guys we have exactly two weeks but I personally want to say 13 days. Sunday doesn't count. At this time on the 26th, I should be 30 mins out of Orlando preparing to land. WOOHOO.

Any Aug 26ers going to the P&P Party on the 28th? I plan to be there. I just went to the World of Disney store on 5th Ave in NYC and got these cute Disney NY Princess shirts for my girls. Not doing the full costume, but Harlem girl gave me so great ideas for a crown and jewelry.

I got my little pirate a Mickey pirate onesie so he'll be representing for the pirate posse!

if anyone happens to run across the need to cancel their CRT or 1900 park fare dinner reservation, please let me know.

It would mean so much to me if my dd could meet Cinderella on our trip. I have been calling daily, but still unable to book reservations. So if anyone decides to cancel...even at the last minute, please keep me in mind.
We will have internet access down there, and I would even give my cell phone number to someone who is unsure if they will keep their reservation or not.

You can meet cinderella in France at Epcot. I was amazed last time we were there at how many characters are in "the World" at Epcot and the lines are super dooper short!

Since this is our first trip, on a budget, and the kids are so young (3 and 6) we plan on doing both park days (non-hopping) at MK.

I am still debating about the party. Have to talk to hubby about it. Will let you know.


As for the packing. I usually pack light. My DS has his own bag. Hubby tends to overpack but I will make sure he doesn't this time. If it is a little over, I will just pack some stuff in my DS' bag.

I get to CSR on 8/24 but will be moving to POR 8/26 to start the "real vacation" with free dining and lots of park days I see there are others checking into POR that day---I will be hopping over there by 7am for pre checkin and get my tickets to head to the parks for opening so hopefully check-in will be a breeze.

Everything I've been reading as to the crowd situation looks pretty positive!!!!

I think we'll all be okay for the last week of August!! We were there last year in mid-Sept. and there were almost no lines at all. The year before, we arrived the day before Labor Day weekend and it too was FAB!!! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed!!!

I need to join in---we are checking into Pop on the 26th and leaving the 31st.
Getting so excited, this is our second trip ever to the World, the first one being several years ago.
I'm praying for manageable weather and manageable crowds!

4th of July holiday. Did that once. Never again. 10 days to go. Almost in single digits.
