Are you and your DH, DW or SO affectionate to each other?

I'm asking because John-Cole just said that we were...in his words..."TOO OLD" to be holding hands, hugging or kissing. HELLO!! I'm quite proud that my DH still holds my hand at the mall and kisses me every now and then. Now this isn't teenage pawing on each other just a quick kiss on the head or the lips and holding hands. And at home if we walk by each other we usually touch each other in some form or lay together on the couch. Just normal things like that...nothing over the top.

LOL!!! Sorry, but I have to side with your son on this. You're not "too old" to be affectionate of course, but from a child's perspective seeing his parents being affectionate with each other is, to put it mildly, gross. When I see my parents holding hands or kissing (non-chalantly of course) I look away and am very embarrassed by it, and I'm in my mid-twenties. I also come from a non-affectionate family. On the other hand, when I was 10 years old I thought that 20 was old LOL!

Perhaps your son is embarrassed? Were you and your DH affectionate with each other while he was growing up?

FYI, there is a Friends episode that deals with a close topic LOL!!!! Ross and Monica's parents are visiting, and they come across a tape made by thier parents. I'll leave the rest to your own imagination!
