To North Americans. It’s just hockey. Field hockey is field hockey.
Not many other countries in the NHL. Players yes not countries. To North Americans.
I was talking about the Ice Hockey community worldwide. Not many other countries in the NHL. Players yes not countries.
I wish Disney still owned them.I used to be a big Kings fan. I literally never missed a game (on TV), then I had kids and didn't have time for it. DD likes the Ducks so we get to a couple of games a year. I'm about to make all other hockey fans jealous; I went to Ducks games their inaugural year and paid about $20-$30 for nose bleed seats. That's what I paid for DD and I to go to games last season - the price has not gone up at all.
The Ducks are terrible, but still...
What's it like living in the Caribbean? I assume it's very different then Canada. I know it's an off topic question but I'm curious.I admit it. Both DH and I are diehard Leaf fans.
The running joke was that I married him for his season tickets, which at the time had a literal decades (or more) long waiting list. We’ve since moved way outside of Toronto and no longer have them, but I got DVC and WDW annual passes to compensate.

Do you get NHL games on tv in the Cayman Islands?Sun, sand, no hockey but a much shorter flight to Disney. Love it.

You could watch soccer though on the islands. The Cayman islands play next month in the Concacaf Nations League against the British Virgin Islands and St. Kitts. Canada plays an international friendly against Panama in Toronto. You can watch most Canada matches on Onesoccer. Some, one of the local stations streams CBC a lot. Kept Sportsnet and use a VPN. DH has a ton of hacks. He did up a former guest room as a Leaf man cave. He feels very strongly about the Leafs.

Just if you're curious about some Canada and Cayman Islands sports news in between the hockey coverage.
Canada is a host of the 2026 World Cup if you are interested in visiting your home country during that time. Miami will be a host as well. Just in case you are interested in the future. I hope the hurricanes aren't affecting you to much this week. Not really fans of anything else, but thanks.
Have you seen any preseason games? We're hockey fans, though admittedly don't watch a lot on TV. DD checks scores nightly during the season, mainly checking on the Bruins, Habs and Flyers. We go to a few college hockey games, lots of high school games. And DD plays on a "special hockey" team.
