I was able to get a reservation for 2 for Dine with an Imagineer at Citricos in a few months. It was supposed to be me and my 17 year old son--we would be taking a trip to Florida to visit colleges and taking a quick "Disney break" for this dinner.
It would be great to bring one of my other kids (age 15) along for the college tour experience--but I haven't been able to get an additional seat at Dine with an imagineer for him. I will keep trying, of course... but if comes down to the time when we are supposed to go to the dinner--would I be allowed to let the two of them go (teen boys ages 17 and 15) and NOT me (the person whose name the reservation is under.)
I'm guessing the answer is no--but just curious if anyone has ever been able to do this. And I guess the fact that both are under the age of 18 would make it a definite "no?"

I had this happen, kinda. I booked it for my DS but I suppose I missed something and it was booked in my name. It wouldn't let me change it. Usually it's not a problem as long as he showed up and checked in with my name but they were engraving pins for guests so I wanted to be sure it was his name AND I gave them enough time beforehand. I called Disney Dining, explained and they went into my account and switched it from my name to his. I just owned the reservation and could still cancel it.

Thanks! Was your son over 18 at the time?

Yes, but I don't think it would be a problem. My guess is that if the only requirement to enter a park alone is 14 that anyone over that should also be able to dine without any question.
