Are you allowed to ride TTA/Peoplemover continuously?

I feel funny writing this as I have gone on TTA more times than I count, but I am asking because I have seen a few posts about this being a great place to allow a baby to nap/nurse/or take a bottle. I always remember just going around the track one time and then mindlessly getting off- do they allow you to ride more than once if it isn't too crowded? My guess is "no" and that I got the wrong idea, but I thought I would ask anyway! Thanks!

we have never been asked to get off.. especially when we had dd asleep on our laps.

Unless it's really busy, I don't think they mind if you stay on.

Thanks for the reply! My 10 month old is a great napper... in a dark quiet room. We plan to go back to the room for his long afternoon nap but I am looking for places in each park that will be monotonous enough to get him to sleep for his shorter morning nap. I love TTA, so this is good news.

If there is no one waiting to ride, they WILL let you stay on. We've done this numerous times in the past. We rode it three times in a row one evening during EMH. It was such a peaceful way to end the evening. We didn't want to get off into the chaos of the rest of the park.

We rode 5 or 6 times without getting off once. We had time to kill and were very tired. That's the great thing about the PM - it isn't annoying in any way and can be enjoyed repeatedly.

Anything that loads and unloads in the same place can be ridden again if there is no line, I would think. We were offered a second go-round on Splash Mtn. once when there was no line. Didn't do it, but could have.

There was a time after the refurb where they weren't allowing you to ride more than once. You had to get off, go down the ramp, and back up again if you wanted to ride again.

Lately when I go over I have been able to ride as many times as I would like.

Last trip one of our kids got sick at MK and fell asleep on TTA. There was no line. Most of the cars were empty. The CM would NOT let us stay on the ride even though we had a sleeping child. I could see the need to get off the ride if there was a line but there was none. We barely were able to get the child awake and get off the ride before we went around again.

We went downstairs and our kid fell asleep on a bench facing Buzz. After awhile she woke up and was ready to go. A good place to take a rest USED to be over by the bathrooms and Space Mountains. There was an area back there that had a bunch of benches in the shade. I don't think many people went back there. From the look of the construction last year that area might be gone.

We have done multiple rides many times. Like everyone said it depends on the crowds and the CM. Last year we rode it about 3 times in a row but then it started to rain and everyone headed here to get out of it. They made us get off the last time around because the line was down the ramp and around.

That was our experience last January as well.

We have ridden it a whole bunch of times and stayed on when there was no-one in line, but last Oct after the re-furb when no-one was waiting we asked to stay on and we were told a big NO we must get off and go down and come back up. We absolutely pleaded and the CM was having none of it threatening to shut the ride down if we didn't get off.
Maybe it's up to individual CM's or maybe there was a new policy post refurb, and maybe that's changed again. Just don't count on being able to stay on. Hope you get lucky.

Maybe they want people to use the turnstiles so they can count how many people are using the ride? That is they only reason I can see to make people get off if there isn't a line of people...

This summer we were able to ride it continuously even during the day, there wasn't a huge line of people waiting for the ride but there were people getting on (and others getting off). All we did was stay in our seats and the CM just said "another ride?" we said yes and that was it.

Once my sister and I rode TTA several times in the evening, when her husband and daughter were in line at the speedway, it was great and we were never asked to get off, we just spread out and lounged for a bit until her husband and daughter were done with their ride and ready to meet us elsewhere.

I guess I would say don't be upset if you are asked to get off because it certainly could happen, but it could also go the other way and you might be able to ride continuously, it just depends on the CM working and the congestion of the ride I guess.

I think it totally depends on the CM at the end. We've asked "can we please go again?" and had some CM's say yes, some say no.

It was a great place for youngest DS and I to hang while all the big "kids" were riding Space Mountain.

I was looking for an answer to this question on google and found this thread here on disboards so I decided to just bring it back to life instead of making a new one, I hope that's ok!

Does anyone know how things are now? Are you allowed to ride more than once at all? Do you have to ask first or just stay seated? Will you get yelled at if you don't get up when it's time to leave?

I'd love to ride the TTA twice in a row without leaving, or even more if the line isn't too long but I have no clue if it's still allowed and how to go about it. If anyone could share their experiences with it (preferably recent ones) I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

That was our experience last January as well.

Us, too! We must have had the same CM because we were not allowed to stay on either.

Edit: Just saw this thread is old. But in January 2011 we asked to stay on and was told no.
But in past years we did stay on. One time my sister and I rode it 8 times in a row!

I suppose it all depends on the CM and the crowds.

Same here....we were there week of April 17th. Rode it twice a couple different times.
