Are you afraid of those exploding biscuit cans?

I kid you not, one time I was opening a tube of biscuits and I ripped the paper off and one of the metal ends shot wildly across the kitchen and hit the refrigerator and left a mark! I never knew a tube of biscuits could be used as a weapon!

Hmmm, I'm surprised there isn't video footage of this on YouTube somewhere. Surely there are guys who figured out that if you gently pry the end off somewhat, & that if you heat the can some (or whatever ) those ends could be used as a torpedo biscuit launcher - projectile biscuits & ends out of the tube! :

Maybe that's why this thread has received so many tags. The Tag Fairys are sympathetic. They were warned at the Fairy Flight Academy to stay away from those biscuit launchers! It would be scary flying through a meteor shower of biscuits.

Oh my gosh! I am totally afraid of those exploding cans. I always tense up just before I get the paper off and I'm convinced it's going to blow my nose off! Of course, nothing ever happens but I still get nervous opening the next can!

Walking through KB Toys tonight and I was instantly reminded of you pillsbury-popaphobics: the game "Perfection" was out on the front tables.

I'll admit THAT game makes me run the other way. Come to think of it, I think that's the reason I did so poorly on my timed multiplication tests (how many problems can you do in 60 seconds?) I'd freeze up every time.
