There is so much I want to do, so much I want to see. I don't fear death so much as fearing dying and fearing not having time enough. To do what? I don't know.

I am not personally afraid of death. I would prefer not to go in a horribly tragic way though. However, I'm afraid of leaving my babies. I never want them to be without me. The thought of not being with them makes me very sad. :(

I don't fear dying, just that I would want to go peacefully when my time comes. As my children get older, it has been easier to come to that. When they were little, it used to terrify me that I would die, and they wouldn't even remember me. But now, I can honestly say, that if my day is soon, I have no fear, or regrets how I lived my life. (except that I wasn't born rich or beautiful,--LOL)---just that I have had a loving husband and family.

No, not at all...

I have faith in the Lord...all will be well when He calls me to Heaven ....

I do have a fear that my NUDE body will be found along a bike trail or somthing like that, I want to die with my cloth on.

I'm afraid of dying and not being completely happy. It sounds trite, but I don't want to die unless I can die happy.

Hmmm..I'm not afraid of death...but like some of you said, I am afraid of leaving my family. If I knew for sure they'd be ok and they'd heal easily, then I'd be peacefull.

Oh man, this is depressing me:(

I LOVE ALL YOU GUYS!!!!! Just thought I'd let you all know....:(

Not afraid, just not ready yet.

I want to die at the age of 95 at the hands of a jealous husband.

You crack me up!

No, I am not afraid of death or even the process of dying. I obviously do not want to suffer, who would? But, I won't have a choice in the matter... every day I am living is such a blessing and it is guaranteed I will die.....I feel like I would be wasting precious time fearing the inevitable.

I am not afraid to die, but I am afraid of dying from a heart attack after I find the nude body of a strange man along the bike trail.

Yes, I'm deathly afraid of that scenario.

And can you imagine that being the last thing you'd see? I pity my poor eyes! *snerk* hee hee.........

I've always been afraid of death, but more so with people close to me. I've had some aunts and uncles that I didn't know that well die, but I can't imagine how hard it will be when it happens to someone really close.

I'm also afraid of when and how I die. I really hope that I live a long time, and I wish I could die in my sleep without any pain or suffering.

Is it wrong to laugh during a death thread? If it is, SORRY, but I had to laugh at this one and Pop Daddy's!!

Jason!!! :teeth:

I don't really fear death but hate the thought of leaving the parts of life that I love behind. Particularly people that I love. It feels scary to me to no longer see them but then again I look forward to seeing those who preceded me in death.

Actually, aging is more frightening to me. Losing one's health and becoming slower and weaker seems really terrifying.

No, I'm not afraid of death for myself, but kill me first before anything should happen to my sons! The only reason I fear dying before my time is my kids----I want to be old enough so that they don't need me anymore (you know, when they're 60 and I'm 85 or so...;) ) Seriously, I just want to stick around til my boys are self-sufficient adults.

I think you have to have VERY strong faith not to be afraid of death. Unfortunately, I don't, not yet anyway. I'm working on it though. :)

As I tell my dd, 10. Dying is as much a part of life as being born is. My mom sat down in her recliner last fall, dozed off and, if her beliefs are correct, she woke up with Jesus. She was 73 and while we all miss her like crazy, she went in the best possible way. I want the same thing. But not until my dd is about 40. I just don't want to leave her alone, with-out her mom. I'm trying really hard to have the same faith as my mom did.
