Are you a Yankee Candle-aholic?

Thanks, Lars! I know where I'm headed tomorrow...:D

Not only am I a Yankee Candle addict, I have a YC employee that emailed me to let me know the new fall and holiday scents arrived.

I have 1 tiny peach YC. I'm not much of a candle person (I'm afraid I'll burn the place down:eek: ).

I must have over 12 large jars unburned along with a couple of medium sized jars and one or two small jars. I have a few votives and at least 20 tarts.
Well, I wouldn't call you a "Pro" yet but, you're no "Rookie" either!! ;) And, I've got more than that right now. :o Ever since I found my 'retired' Watermelon on Ebay, I've been stocking up on that, and my other faves!

Finished a large jar Watermelon upstairs tonight. Burning a large jar Vineyard right now. Plan on burning Root Beer votive tomorrow. I've always got it planned!! ;) :)

I have some 'hard-to-find' votives in Egg Nog, Lemonade, Lemon Pound Cake, Carnation, Orange Sherbet and, Root Beer (as I mentioned). For Halloween, I have Black Licorice in the Med. jar (largest jar they sell in that) and, 12 tea lights.

 Boy, do I need help!!

;)

I have been for about 6-7 years. I discovered them in the Yankee Candle store in Chagrin Falls, OH.

That was the first time I had experienced the wonderfullness. The scents and smells have changed throughout the years.. (I remember when home sweet home and hearts and flowers were "newer" scents!)

I have always loved them. I am good now that the mall closest to me has a YC store, and I stop in, smell and then go on... (mostly without buying)

Lets see, I have a home sweet home votive, honeydew melon housewarmer, clean cotton votive, Home sweet home tart, and Christmas cookie tart...and a small bay breeze housewarmer.. all in different parts of the house.

I have a few tarts left. I need to get another larger housewarmer.

I like some of them (I like the Fresh Grass one the best), but there's ANOTHER candle maker with even yummier scents -- Village Candle. they are harder to find, but their Gingerbread candle is YUM!

I just raided my Yankee Candle cabinet to see exactly what I have. Here are my current totals:

Large jars (currently unburned):
Festival of Lights
Exotic Papaya
Hazelnut coffee
Strawberry Rhubarb pie
Buttercream
Honeydew melon
Oatmeal Cookie (two large jars)

Medium jars (currently unburned):

Banana cream pie
Chocolate Truffle
Trick or Treat

Small jar (currently unburned):
Buttercream

Votives:
Cranberry Chutney
Chocolate Truffle (I have two of these.)

Tarts:
Chocolate Truffle (stocked up with 5 of them)
Apricot preserves
Hot Apple pie
Macintosh
Hazelnut Coffee
French Vanilla (3)
Maple Walnut
Raspberry Sorbet
Island Mango
Banana Cream Pie
Orange Cupcake
Strawberry Rhubarb pie
Buttercream
Coconut Cake

Currently is use in my home:
Large jars --

Anyone see a trend in my scents? LOL

Another discontinuation alert: YC is discontinuing the Oatmeal Cookie candle so if you like it stock up now.

OMG Beth.....ROFLMBO!!!!!

You did it to me...I HAD to go to the Yankee Candle store yesterday and get a Harvest for my office. I was getting tired of burning Berry Bramble and here it's fall...needed some fall scent...and it's all your fault!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Does anyone know if nutcracker is out in the stores yet? From what I have heard it was due to be released mid October and it is mid October....I am anxiously awaiting its arrival.

:bounce::wave::bounce:

The new winter scents are out, and nutcracker isn't one of them.

I found out from my YC pal that the winter scents from last year are most likely not going to be re-released. That includes Starry Night (my fave), Nutcracker, and Poinsetta. :( :(

They have holiday bayberry, chestnut, and winterberry (which smells wonderful - like pine and berries)
