Are you a member of the night owl club? The kind of person who favors Magic Kingdom after dark? Do you consider that 2am-3am old paper Fastpass a keepsake? Revel at the thought of running down the little hill in the Space Mountain queue late at night?

Do you love the joke of leaving the Mexico ride just as Illuminations is starting? Or being the last to ride Test Track for the night?

This is the place to share tips, highlights and thrills of late-night touring!

Include me in the club. All of WDW takes on a whole new magical exhilaration at night.

Wish we could be! LOVE the feel of the parks in the evening, probably my favorite time of day there, especially in late Sept when the temps are super comfortable at night.

I'm sure many parents with young kids agree, it's hard to do late nights at Disney. When the kids wake up, so do you... plus, the parks just aren't open late in Sept when we go. We close most parks down, but that's not saying much at 9 pm. :)

This is so us!

There is nothing more magical than getting to see Wishes from one of the logs on Splash Mountain or rail cars on BTMRR.

We also absolutely LOVE how Spaceship Earth looks from across the World Showcase lagoon at night.

Love the thrill of riding BTMR at night.
Test Track at night makes me feel like I am really speeding down the freeway with the top down.
My favorite view coming back to my Boardwalk Villas's room each evening is Spaceship Earth illuminating as a nightlight through our window.

I wouldn't say I/we do it all the time, but hitting some of the rides after parades/fireworks, especially at MK, is really nice. My favorites at night: Big Thunder Mountain RR at MK (haven't done 7DMT yet to see how that is), Test Track after dark at Epcot, Toy Story Mania after the first Fantasmic (it's sometimes a walk-on despite what the wait times say...you can always leave if the line is too long). Same with Star Tours...often empty, even though wait times may not reflect it.

Definitely me! In 2012 we went to WDW the week leading up to easter and there was SO MANY nights of late EMH at Magic Kingdom, it was amazing. We stayed until 3am one night and closed out the park, riding Space Mountain. In our photo, we pretended to be asleep.

Has anyone else been able to re-ride BTMRR multiple times in a row (without getting off)? Any other rides?

Card carrying members here!!!!! LOVE the World at nite!!!

Late nights / early mornings is how we do WDW most of the time. We can sleep plenty when we're dead and that is what coffee is made for.

Our favorite things to do at night:

Hollywood Studios – Stroll Down Sunset Blvd

EP – Walk on the multicolored light up sidewalks, Test Track

MK – Astro Orbiter, BTMRR, and heck, slowly stroll just about anywhere in the park.

Nothing like walking around the parks with the lights on and very few people. One of our favorite things to do!

Things we've done late at night that you probably can't accomplish at any other time:

1. Visit A&E followed by two rides on 7DMT in less than 45 minutes.
2. Ride TSMM 4 times in 1 hour.
3. Ride ToT 13 times in 2 hours.
4. Ride Everest 6 times in 45 minutes.

*(All on non-EMH nights with no FP+)

Any others?

When I was a pre-teen/teen my dad and I used to go early to late on our trips. We early-opened and late-closed whatever we could.

Now I'm lucky if I make it til 10pm!! DH is a night owl and is intent on getting me afternoon naps (like a toddler!) so I can make it out later for this upcoming trip.

Yes. We would much rather stay late than get up early. That is about to change on our next trip. The week we're going in August the parks will be closed most nights by 9:00/10:00. Guess we'll have to become morning people. :)

Unlimited lattes in REAL coffee cups are the prime reason we tried club level! Well, at least the prime reason I was interested in trying it a second time.

Many folks talk about the CL wine and beer offerings or the appetizers. For me, I can get up early, but I'm not a morning person.:coffee:

Long treks to the food court for sub-par coffee with fake cream in a nasty refillable mug (washed with shampoo?:lmao:) were always a problem for us. We tried it all: bringing Parmalat, even buying a coffeemaker for one famous Pop stay.

Then we tried Club level for one night. My first impression was mixed, until I recalled the easy lattes a short walk from our room: 7am to 10pm! No long wait! Just push a button or two! My perfect solution!
Everyone helps themselves to a healthy continental breakfast of fruit, oatmeal, and yogurt! We arrive 15-25minutes closer to rope drop when we stay CL!

It almost makes up for the added expense. (= shorter trips)

They will let you stay on alot of the rides that don't have separate loading/unloading locations for back to back rides (Test Track, Thunder Mnt, Splash Mnt, etc)

I use the coffee pot in the room to make me a cup from the walk to the quick service location where I get more coffee to read the morning news before I get my cup of coffee to walk back to my room before I get my cup of coffee for the bus ride.

What about the late night water artists? They look like sanitation workers, but instead of sweeping, they dip their broom in water and start drawing characters!

We also enjoy the late night photos with characters. Many are downright funny. We are bundled in layers, maybe post Test Track hair, groggy eyes, but a we-didn't wait-in-line-for this giant grin.

I am looking forward to either a solo trip one day, or a trip with a good friend, that we can take at a time of year the parks are open later. 9pm was the closing time when we were there last time and I'd love to stay later than that!!!
