I post on another site (gaming related) and people talk about this all the time.

I always thought it seemed kind of weird, to post to raise your post count. Do people really do that? I mean, I guess if there was some kind of perk that came along with a certain post count, like access to search or something, I could see someone trying to get to that point, but otherwise, I can't see the point.

I have no idea how many posts I have. A lot, because I type & read fast.

Nope, I am honestly not a post padder. If I was, then I would have a lot more posts to my name. I only post on the threads that seem interesting or fun or that I think I can contribute to. I skip the rest.
