I am definitely a dog person, however I have zero chance of getting one as we are both working full time. Just wouldn't be fair to leave the poor thing alone all day long...

I'm horribly allergic to cats. I spent 20-30 mins at a friend's house yesterday, and spent the rest of the day miserable with allergies. Still have full sinuses today, in fact.

I love my pups!

I like both dogs and cats. I don't have either though--I have three ferrets because they better fit my lifestyle.

My DH spends a couple weeks a month in NJ, and shares a house up there. His housemate has two cats and a dog, and when he woke up this morning all three were in bed with him LOL!

You didn't have a "both" catagory! I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 kittens. If I have to choose I would say that I'm a cat person. They are a lot of fun, not too much work and are great companions. I like being able to walk a dog, though, even though I don't do it often. When these dogs are gone I don't know that I'll get more dogs, but I said that about our first dog before we got a second one. Eventually I wouldn't mind more cats, but 6 animals is really plenty.

Deffinitely a cat person, but I wish I had a neighbor with a dog I could walk! My cats bathe themselves and can be left alone for long periods. When I go to WDW, I just have someone check in on them every day or two to make sure everythings okay.

I'm a cat person. I love bunnies too (I have 3 of them and 2 cats.) I'm actually quite scared of dogs as I was attacked and bitten when I was little, although I am getting better about this now.
