Are you a diabetic?

My cat is diabetic. He can't exactly tell me how he feels so I'm trying to get some input from humans that can tell me. How did you feel before you were diagnosed and your blood sugar is high? How do you feel after you get your insulin shots? What can you tell me that my cat can't?

Type II - I never had any symptoms - not overweight and exercise regularly - I was classified as non-deployable and they wouldn't send me to Afghanistan (after a bout in Iraq) so I retired. No symptoms at all though. Big surprise to me.

There has to be more than one diabetic out there....
