Are WL deluxe rooms ever discounted?

Hi,

I'm wondering if WL deluxe rooms (jr. suites) ever have a discount code? We're going in value season at the beginning of Dec. 06. If I book a deluxe room, is there any chance a discounted code rate will come out, ever? How about for other WL rooms at that time of year? TIA!

I just stayed in a deluxe WL room and after much searching found that those rooms are never discounted. This was confirmed time and again when I tried to find a discount.

For the record, the deluxe rooms are significantly smaller than two regular rooms. In the future I would just get two discounted regular rooms as I really needed the extra space (we had two cribs in our room). The jr suite was much smaller than I was expecting but while our room was a looong trek from the lobby the views were fabulous!

I was told by Disney that those rooms were also never discounted. I saw an item on the travel channel stating that they had value priced rooms when I inquired about this I was told that the WL and AK were the value resorts of the deluxes and that is what they meant by value rooms.

We stayed last may and found a discount code that allowed us to stay for $154 a night.. so you just have to keep looking and with any luck.. disney will have discounts...

Are you sure this was a deluxe/jr suite room? The kind with a separate bedroom and living room with wet bar? The regular price for a jr suite is about $400 per night...but $154 sounds like the discounted rate for a standard room.....???
