I voted that it doesn't matter either way. That said, I remember checking in for our first DVC visit as members at OKW in 1994 and thinking that "Welcome Home" was a *very* special phrase at that particular time!

I voted no big deal. It is nice to hear - especially that very first time. If we get it great, if we don't get it no big deal.

I will say that on the DVC Member Cruise we got them all the time! That felt special because it was a special cruise.

Just got off the 7-day Western and when we got back on in the ports there was a giant Welcome Home banner so it isn't just DVC!

I really don't pay attention...I didn't purchase DVC for the sole reason of people "Welcoming me Home"....I don't get it when people get so upset when they don't hear it......

When I heard it for the first time, it gave me a warm fuzzy. I liked hearing it, but it didn't make or break my trip!

hi: i love "Welcome Homes"- that's been my #1 "complaint" about bwv- the lack of that phrase. it wouldn't stop me from enjoying our stays, but a little extra effort would make it that much more enjoyable. i see it as a lack of training and possibly retention of employees at bwv(it always seems to have a fair amount of turnover).
